Shame that. He's been the lynch pin of an albeit leaky defence. We need another centre back now.

No great loss we can always move the Croatian Mountain back there. Id go back to Dresden and sign Hefe's CB partner Janick Muller

Be sad to see lynch go, very good player IMO, but in Wagner we trust.

No choice but to sell if he doesn't want to be here, hope we have got a decent fee for him.

I'm not too bothered about him leaving.

One year left on contract, if he isn't happy he wouldn't sign an extension and we'd lose him for free next summer. Good to sell him now and get the cash.
Hefele is left footed anyway so Joel's position is covered. New centre back on the list then. No news on a right back yet?

He's been a key part of a leaky defence that has been shit for years. Individually he has a lot of good attributes but sometimes it can be better to lose one of your "better" players if it leads to a better team.
Also - is nobody going to point out that this is a crappy newspaper equivalent to the examiner, down south, and their source is a crappy twitter rumour page that has 900 followers?

Our only Prem standard player. Very sad to see him go. You honestly think Lynch could defend in the Premier League? Top class strikers would eat him for breakfast.

Hope we got value for money for him! How much do folk value one of the better centre halves in the Championship. Don't know how long he had on his contract but we must be looking at more than a million?

I've always thought he's class, quick, good on the ball, etc. when things are going well and he's feeling confident. I've also seen him lose the plot and be a bit soft. In conclusion, sad to see him go but he's certainly replaceable and an overhaul of that leaky defence has been long overdue.

Him and scanz live in home valley, hope scanz can cope on his own with his rubbish. Might be a crisis.

Don't know how long he had on his contract but we must be looking at more than a million? He's out of contract next year so I reckon £1.5m. He's our best defender by a distance so I'm disappointed to see him leave but sounds like he's wanting to go for personal reasons which is fair enough. I've no doubt we'll have someone lined up to replace him.

been the only decent part of our weak defence for a while. if he goes fair play to him. fixed even tougher job to sort this defence now. ps. when they say a year left, is it not a year + another year option?

Im certain Town will get a decent price for him, In recent years we've always got good money for players. I'd imagine Hill and Hudson at the back would be the equivalent of Booth and Beckett up front.

He'll be a big loss. Been one of our best players for the past 2 seasons and thats whilst carrying our worst throughout. If the player wants out we didn't really have much choice but to get what we could, but its a real shame. He'll be tough to replace.

He's got his demons and sometimes when they are conquering him he has been a liabilty wont train or turns up for training late...the management have been patient with him and covered up these issues. Good luck heard he was off weeks ago hope that he has sorted himself out quality player when fullly 'fit' and focused

If this is happening he'll be a massive miss. Composed on the ball, makes a good tackle and has pace to get his partner out of trouble. We look so much better when he's playing.
