Are you for real? How can you tell we HAVE replaced Lynch with someone better unless YOU know what the new lad's got?! Your comments get more childish each day. The main gist of this debate is, if we are to improve, and go for it, then we need a 'PROVEN' stronger team and no more Matmours and Manus etc coming in. You're not very bright are you? Tell me where I've said the new lad IS better. I'll save you the bother of searching, 'cos I haven't. I've only begged the question 'how do we know he's NOT until we've seen him?' Not THAT difficult to understand. The only thing 'childish' is your obvious ire towards me... your pet-hate poster. Keep it up, it just makes you look more and more ridiculous. Hope you didn't kick the dog too hard.

Lynch was here and was playing well for us..albeit in between some injuries.
If he wishes to leave we can only get the best deal possible for him.
We could force him to see out the final year of his contract but that brings all sorts of problems with it.
If its done then we have to move on and its down to the club to react to any losses of players who would definitely be starters next season.
We will miss his pace back there and that will need to be high up on the requirements of any replacement.

Best defender in a poor group, also part of the team who folded like a pack of cards several times last season. Personal circumstances changed for him and I bet he didn't care for the stricter regime - he's a bit older so it's harder on their bodies over a season, good luck to him we move on! Room for another quality CB

Rich kid goes to poor kid's party and sees poor kid's best toy. Immediately rich kid screams 'ME,ME,ME!' pointing at poor kid's toy. Rich kid's mummy has to appease the spoilt brat and pulls out a purse full of tenners. Poor kid's mum knows that this will feed the family for a month and accepts the offer. Meanwhile poor kid hugs his knees crying in a corner in the bleak realisation that this is his life's fate. You been reading the big red book from Conufucius?

You need leaders at the back and Lynch was certainly no leader. Too many seemingly innocuous injurys which kept him out for weeks for my liking. Shame coz he could have been a top player if he could be bothered.

Will be a big loss in that he's been our best defender since Sean Morrison (what a centre back partnership that would have been). However, he has become increasingly injury prone and if we get over £1m for a player who wants to leave and only has a year left it's relatively good business for me.
Thanks for the memories Lynchy if you do leave, you'll always be welcome back.
Now to find another beast centre back who can ping them in from 35 yards

Few people have mentioned an interest in a Polish defender, anyone know who he is? CB or RB?
8 days until pre-season, interesting to see how many will be confirmed by then for the tour.

It's not great news is it. He's probably one of a handful of players you'd like to see us keep from the team that finished the season.
This is why I was never keen on our strategy of getting loans to replace the outgoings of Coady, Butterfield and Smithies last season. It would have been good to have a little more continuity. With all the loan players gone we've got a lot of rebuilding to do already. Losing your better players is only making that job much harder - what exactly have we got to build around.
The last thing I want to hear is excuses about the team 'taking time to gel' following a bad start.
As for central defence, it's a big gamble expecting a young player from the German third division to come in and excel straight away. Hudson shouldn't be anywhere near the first eleven. So I think we now need two CBs.
I'd like to see Lynch replaced with a star perfomer from a team in and around us in the championship. I don't think we can plug every gap with foreign players. We need to buy proven quality at this level for some positions.

Lynch would have been one of the 11, someone else of first team championship quality 'now' has to replace him.. We start championship games on that date and 'promise' and 'future' may well not cut it quickly enough, the 11 plus some of the bench have to be 'ready' then.

By my reckoning we still need 1. Centre half - 1st choice 2. Goalkeeper 3. Striker 4. Another attacking midfielder Plus 5. Paterson or another attacking midfielder6. Possibly right back cover Sounds like some of that is done but thats a lot of work still to do and in 2 or 3 cases needs £ to be spent The outfield players need to be in early or won't be fit enough for the system Are you including Jack Payne as an attacking midfielder as that was the role he played at Southend?

To be fair, whilst that article is hosted on the QPR website, it's not news officially released by the club, it's just them quoting gossip from their local paper. Quite bizarre when you think about it!?
