Kenny Miller was brought in as attacking coach a couple of weeks back.
Will we sack him without ever scoring a goal under his tutelage?

If, and it is an if isn't it?, he has gone then:
1 - It wouldn't surprise me 2 - Doesn't it make those in charge look utterly ridiculous? Especially with our former coach back in the Championship and making an impact.

From what I've heard it isn't just Fotheringham getting the sack.

Would anyone seriously want this guy leading the team in league 1 next season? He should have never have got the job in the first place, nevermind giving him a 3 year deal. The shear incompetence of the club to appoint another rookie on a long-term deal is just criminal. I'm guessing we're stuck with him. Surely if the club were going to pull the trigger on him they'd have done it by now? Not if they were lining up a replacement first. Could I be Wagner? 5 months in charge then he can goto Spain if that's what his missus wants

First Post so go easy on me please. In his interview at the weekend he said several times there was no money for January. Reading between the lines maybe this means there's no money for him to spend. I'm sure Baldwin said there would be funds available which begs the question what has changed in this short space of time?

For those of you who stayed to the end you would have seen Rhodes fire over the bar from a few yards! Wouldn't have made any difference of course. But this summed it up for me. We can't score when we get the chance. We will pass it to someone else rather take on a shot etc. The confidence is rock bottom just as it was before Fotheringham arrived. Watford broke with 5 or six players at speed and our defence isn't good enough to cope. We were lucky to concede only 2! So to all you experts out there who could turn this around? What would a relegation escapolgist like Warnock do? He'd get his team to put as much pressure on the opposition as possible, get them turned around with long balls and rough them up a bit. Not suggesting we go for Warnock but my point is there is a way of playing when you're scrapping at the bottom and we ain't doing it at present. And yet, see Michelle on radio thread.... One of her observations was we played too many long balls forward....

One of our primary strikers is a virtual midget who can't hit a barn door, and the other wouldn't beat a tortoise in a foot race.

He never said anything about money being spent. That's just our interpretation. Refreshed, could mean loan players coming back.

He should never have been appointed Whilst partly responsible for this debacle, I can’t imagine Bromby was stupid enough to give him a 3 year contract without suitable conditions - and therefore assume we can afford to get rid MF is in a difficult position with a much weaker squad than last year (but he knew that) and issues off the pitch - this isn’t an easy job for anyone. I said last season if we failed to get promoted we’d be lower half this season But not 7 adrift! The squad as weak as it is, is better than that He has been here 13 games and had a pre season. Whilst he’s cringy / uncomfortable to listen to, talks about himself too much and you feel like he’d fall out in an empty room - he could get away with all that & operating like Cowdenbeath under 7s if we looked like a football team on the pitch We have no consistent shape, attacking pattern. If we did anything in 4 week break, that should have been it. I see no improvement or plan We have scored 3 goals in 9 games - all from left back. One was a cross & two from Ruffels at QPR. Disgraceful. Wasn't it all obvious with his very first training session? With Carlos there were intricate passing drills. With Mark we get drills I train my u8s team with, that's how basic they are. What's worse is that he was recorded doing this? No wonder someone has mentioned the lack of tactical nous. Like many, I've also become disinterested in Town until he's gone.

Yes personally I think we will look to offload Rhodes(big ish wages, for us anyway and interest) rumours we are forcing Duane out too.I think should there be any serious interest for camara we will take the year option and sell.Sorba and Nicholls probably more integral so wait until the summer.Wouldn’t be surprised to see the loans go back too with our loan players coming back.Think that will be it,the lad on trial l(I forget his name) probably replaces holmes and we maybe potentially get someone in on a free to replace Rhodes but on much lower wages. That’s just how I see it

I actually don't mind him getting the Preston game and inevitably losing that too. Gives the new manager a fresh chance at Rotherham and Luton home two very winnable games, could create some real positive momentum going into January and beyond.

I can’t see him being sacked yet. Sheff Utd/Watford they will think they were tough games and not expected to win. The rest of December and January is different. Our season hinges on the next 6 games. We have to come away with 12 points. Will we ? I think we will get 5.
So we will still be bottom.
He is/has been a truly horrific appointment.
The joke is firmly on us - the supporters who have been let down again.

I keep hearing about these more winnable games, everyone says anyone can beat anyone in this division, but we have seen no signs of being any better against the alleged weaker teams. It may well be a shit division but if it is, then we really are in trouble because we are the worst of the worst, rock bottom & 7 points from safety in a poor division.

I honestly think that 80% of our performances are down to the absolute clown of a manager we have in charge. He must have been as stunned as we all were/are that he got the job, id be fairly certain it would get instantly better (even if not enough to keep us up) with anybody else who has a relative level of experience.

Unfortunately the people who make the crucial decisions at this club have a priority to spend as little as possible so on 2 occasions we have chosen the cheapest options, you only have to look at WBA now turning their season round to appreciate what the right manager means to success or failure. Didn’t want MF ( to be fair never heard of him) but the biggest reason I didn’t want him was because it stunk of cheapest option. I want a decent manager but sacking MF won’t change that we will continue to do things cheap until the club changes hands , most fans know this and that’s why the fans are stopping coming/caring and if change isn’t soon many will never return. Sport is about hope you’ve taken it nearly all. Wouldn’t matter if you gave tickets away, a large group of my town friends who sit together post on our message group that tickets are available for free every game. It’s pointless because they are never taken. Nobody wants free tickets ask yourself why.

I’m surprised people still actually go. It just feels like a wasted afternoon for me. Shite football, we never score and barely create chances. There was lots of fans moaning under managers like Powell and Robins, the football under those two was crap at times but way better than under this clown. It’s so boring, atmosphere is also crap, attendances made up. Opposition scores and it’s game over. Devoid of ideas. If we have the funds to sack him then get rid.
