What about all the in-the-know people who said he simply couldn't come back to the UK right now for personal reasons?
Wonder if they are laying thousands?

I really do not think Wagner was even spoken to about returning, i think it was a lot of hope and newspaer/twitter stuff but in reality he was not even on the list.

Is the lad at Norwich the bloke that brought Kaiser Dave over or was it his successor?

Is the lad at Norwich the bloke that brought Kaiser Dave over or was it his successor? Yes Webber brought Wagner to Town and he’s director of football at Norwich

Could be, Norwich have a new owner who may have his eyes on a higher profile coach , be interesting to see if Wagner has finished his sojourn in Majorca .

Don't give two fucks. He was brilliant for us and that's all that matters to me. Some folk are never happy. Never mind, we’ve unearthed a real diamond in Fotheringham who also seems to be doing his best at getting us out of the Championship. 👍

He was also 1/10 for our job before Fotheringham.
It may happen, but anyone who solely follows the bookies in the next manager odds market is a fool.

Yes Webber brought Wagner to Town and he’s director of football at Norwich Wagner wasn’t exactly a success at Shalke or Young Boys, is he a one trick pony ? And yet did better than both of the managers they brought in to replace him. Zurich who won the Swiss league last year are now bottom. It was a total fluke. The manager who replaced Wagner couldn't even keep them in 2nd.

If that's the case then Bromby didn't half shit house the fans in his radio interview. How did Bromby "shithouse the fans" i remember the interviews he did around this time, he never said we would even talk to Wagner. He said you cannot rule him in or out, it dpeneds on a number of factors and he never said what those were. One of the factors could well have been Town asked Dave and he said "not a chance" job done. Bromby said he wanted to bring a coach in who has worked under top coaches, whatever you sy about MF he has Hitzfield and Mgath may well be old school, but they have won 5 bundislega titles and 2 champs league titles between them. Bromby never lied about us even wanting Wagner or not , like i say we may well have asked him about it and that is as far as it went. I think the Wagner coming back thing, was mainly a twitter fed thing.

Lazy journalism as usual. Norwich are desperate to return to the PL so which former promotion winner might be currently available?
Oh I know, how about......

There is also a huge difference between been talked to and offered the job, Hoyle and Wagner are friends, they probs talk weekly. Wagner may well have been asked if he fancied it, he said no no chance and maybe recomended someone

Unless you are DH/LB the rest of us are guessing, weather DW was spoken to about the job or jsut spoken to to test the water. My meaning by this is there is a big difference between a chat of are you up for the job and offering him the job. Why the hell would wagner want the town job ? we were in the relegation zone and our chairman (his friend) was about to put the club up for sale, so what was the incentive for him to come back? I think if he was ever spoken to about the job, the convo was probs about a minute long, are you intersted NO thanks dave.
