I’ve seen nothing from this guy so far, very worrying and I fear we will be making a change again this season.

They may want to keep him for next season with his league one profile.

Probably not. There’s no longevity to his style even if we scrape staying up. Only way he will be successful here is if we give him a massive budget.

Not knee-jerk, just wanted to test the room. It's still early days, and the squad is average at best, but I expected better TBH.
For me he doesn't look inspirational in any shape or form.

Do you trust Cartwright to find his replacement?

I don't think the options matter, the real question is will people get behind DM and the people that employed him.
I think he took a tough job on but results have to improve quickly because if they don't people really won't care either way.
Purely on a footballing front DM set a good benchmark against Ipswich, since then he's fallen way below that. He has to answer why that has happened. It doesn't bode well for his future.

Nagle and friends would turn opinion around with swift axe and replacing him with John Eustace (QPR bound surely)
Ignoring the football, he seems to lack intelligence and I can’t watch his interviews. I don’t know you would hire him after an interview!
I think I have said it before but getting rid of warnock is up there with selling Stewart in terms of utter stupidity!!!
Interesting to see that 90% (18 out of 20 votes at time of posting this) want him gone ALREADY!!!

‘He who wields the dagger, seldom wears the crown’.
Harsh in Moore but he will never be good enough to fill Warnock’s boots in many eyes. Let me Moyes replacing Fergie or the Mondeo trying to be the new Ford Sierra.
His days are numbered.

Absolutely dreadful appointment, said it from day dot. Inept tactically and although not all his fault as this squad is awful and needed the miracle man warnock to get them going, there’s only one way this ends if Moore stays in charge.

I don't think our squad is anywhere near good enough to be making managerial changes like we just have mid season. We are bare bones, warnock was forcing a tune out of them. If it's Darren Moore or someone else it's a tough ask.

The problem is the board made such a big thing of saying this is a long term appointment and they couldn’t run him down when he became available, they are going to be forced to keep him on longer than he should, even if/when it turns really toxic so they don’t lose face

What on earth were these idiots upstairs thinking when they replaced Warnock for this clueless looser
Not one of those town players looked championship quality tonight but Warnock seemed to raise their game and get the best out of the squad
We tried to fix something that wasnt broken and boy are we going to pay for that unless Moore is replaced sooner than la

He seems to be making this group worse as every game passes, that’s the concerning thing for me.
We already have a thin championship squad, taking the risk of getting rid of Warnock and getting Moore in was an awful decision, regardless of what was going on with Warnock behind the scenes - he had them stabilised and was getting results, he earnt and deserved the time to work with his squad.
We’ve gone back 12 months in the last 1 month.

The Warnock situation should be irrelevant now.
I remember last season saying that I wanted us to lose under MF for the greater good one particular poster called me out suggesting I wasn’t a proper fan wishing us to lose… Well how about this id take a Man City 10-1 style thrashing this Saturday because as some have said the rhetoric around his appointment it will need to be something monumentally bad (tonight obviously bad) to react so suddenly, the longer is here the more precarious our championship status!
Also it’s not entirely DM we know the limitations of the squad and I really struggle to see who could now galvanise us AGAIN but we have some hope with Sheff Wed and QPR looking so poor.

We got rid of a man who had performed nothing short of a miracle, for this!! Neil Warnock had them believing they could compete at this level, they were a unit, Now we look worse as each game passes and the confidence seems to have gone already and I can't see much difference between now and the fotheringham days

I think it’s 10 months… which made the long term plan stuff all the more stupid. Ferguson was saved by Mark Robins goal allegedly he would have been gone long before that in todays game hence why ‘legacies’ are a thing of the past. Managers rarely last a year anyhow.

He’s not good enough, Division 1 coach, premier league in 3 years, never in a million years with DM as manager. Nagels ego has landed in this position

If we bring back Warnock in February, with us already still paying him, do we give him 2 salaries?

They've backed the wrong horse. Town fans are incredibly tolerant compared to other clubs but after 4 dire seasons out of the last 5 with little investment and poor leadership the patience has worn thin.
The sheer volume of fans who now think Moore isn't the right man for us after only 4 weeks proves that. It will take a lot to get those fans back on side with DM.
Why upset the apple cart so dramatically for a manager who is quite clearly nowhere near as good. If they felt they had to replace Warnock then they needed to be certain the new guy was an improvement. DM is nowhere near an improvement, however nice he is.

Darren Boore is thick as mince.. . He makes Fotheringham look like Sven.
He can't even string a coherent sentence together for a post match interview, so no wonder the players look so confused if he's trying to give them instructions. Just over emphasises buzz words..
I can't see anything other than a second arsehole at 2.15 on Saturday.
