Wraps up 3-1 win against an admittedly terrible Indian side. Not good for anyone with a 4th day ticket. Like me! Still, Town will cheer me up on Tuesday, I'm sure of it. Ah bad luck Gledholt. India woeful. Have to wonder how long their test status will remain active. The demand isn't there in India and the players clearly aren't up to/interested in performing. England have the shape of a new team tho. 1,3,4,5 are nailed down. Ali deserves a run at 6 though he urgently needs to work on the short ball. Buttler badly needs keeping practice with Lancs but he's batted nicely. B&A roll on and Jordan, Plunkett, Woakes, Finn and Stokes will battle for the two seamer spots each with their own strengths. No test till April, I'll certainly miss my winter series..

Bowled out inside 30 overs. Pitiful from India. For all there power and might in the world game they are a pitiful test match side especially away from home. Winning any test match is a like winning a cup final to them. Very very average, spineless in the end and should be embarrassed. After Lords I put money on england to win the series and £40 up I'm more than happy to see them perform like that. Credit to cook for coming back with a series win.

Was going to go today, which would have been a pretty good choice with the morning runs and afternoon wickets, but bloody Town dictated the Monday!

Hands up - I was wrong about Cook. Unbelievable mental strength to turn it around, albeit against a very low India. Great to see Ballance and Root establishing themselves as rocks in the batting lineup.
Equally good day for Yorkshire today, closing in on a win against Sussex if they stop Wright from his counter attack.

Over 1500 runs and 23 wickets from Yorkshiremen in the past 7 tests. Not too shabby!

Turns out I can't copy down from twitter very well...

I fancy going to Barbados but that one is not actually until May and its quite difficult to get enthused about a 3 match series against the Windies - other than actually going there.

I was planning on going to Jamaica for a test, as my mate has family there we could've stayed with, but there's no bloody test there. Apparently the windies board wanted one there but our board didn't want it there, apparently because it's too far away from the other islands.

Yeah, I read somewhere that initially the windies board suggested two of those three and Jamaica but we insisted on those three as they're pretty close together so there's less travelling time between them.
