At least we never get to see him wearing the No.10 shirt again. Butterfield deserves that shirt. Not some simple ball player.

Massive club, much bigger than South Yorkshire massive. I believe that many bookies have now stopped taking bets on them getting promotion this time. In fact, we are lucky as at 9 July 2015 to still be on the same points as them. Can't remember the last time we beat them... must have been absolutely ages ago... have we ever beaten them? I'm enjoying the Wolves love-in on here!

Nick suggested we are bigger, I've just copy and pasted an honours list that shows they are. Coady has bettered his career, good for him. We'll find another coady and sell them on in the future. In other words, get over coady leaving and look to the future.

I remember as a kid (late 70s, early 80s), the most sought after Panini stickers were from what were considered the big clubs...
Wolves, Forest, Ipswich, Birmingham (and Leeds) were all comfortably in the 'top ten biggest teams in the country'.
By the accepted footballing definition of big, being 'social importance'.
Although...I cant remember any Wolves players/stickers from back then other than Andy Gray, and erm, Emlyn Hughes.
Huge team to the 40 something's amongst us.

Derek Dougan, Steve Bull, Andy Mutch. All before I was born or after my peak Panini collecting years. Probably talking '78 (inspired by Argentina World Cup, first time I remember getting interested in football, aged 7/8) to about '82 (ZX Spectrum > Panini stickers). My entire "how big is a clubs standing in football" is based on those 5 years., which is probably why Liverpool are STILL bigger than Man City, despite not actually being.
