Didn't feature at all today but that's a good 3 points for Scunthorpe.

Just checked and in the three games he's started he's played just short of three and a half hours of football. At least Robins is giving him a relatively fair amount of game time. Worryingly he hasn't finished a game yet.

He's left every team he's managed in a better state than when he took over. Scunthorpe were bottom when he took over.

Not good he didn't play today. Hopefully he will in the next game. He clearly isn't ready for the championship yet. Great in the final third, but he gives the ball away in key areas.
Powell is right on this one.

Powell is right on this one. We've got a team full of players that give it away in key areas. At least he adds a bit of excitement, i almost nodded off against Forest and Wolves with our dull brand of football

We need him back to lay up front. We have enough with Bunn and Miller laying down up front.

The arguments were he was not match fit. Has played some game time building fitness up. From not playing t plain 3 games in a week can see y he might of been benched. B interesting t see if he gets game time in their next match.

Considering his shin splints and lack of general fitness, I reckon he was lucky to figure in the 7 games he played in. Don't forget it was the second half of 2013 / 2014 when he arrived.

How can we expect him to last 90 minutes, when was the last time he had a regular run of games playing more than 10 minutes game by game let alone more than a half? He's only ever been allowed to start 4 games for us and ome of those was at Blackpool! He has played over 210 minutes of football in 2 weeks on loan.... Powell has given him less than 330 minutes of competitive football in the last 12 months.... How can we expect him to have played so much football Didn't he have the assist for the winner last week?

He's started three games on the trot for Robins averaging out at approx. 70minutes. He hasn't played in the last 7 days, ask yourself, if he was doing so well why after a week off he didn't figure today? Wasn't injured otherwise he wouldn't have been on the bench, be interesting to see if Robins extends the loan. Let's not forget he isn't playing in the Championship.

I personally hope he stays another month at least, we need to know if he's got it or not. My gut feeling is big fish in a small pond at Kiddy, can he become a big fish at Scunthorpe then back to us to step up once again. Let's see how he goes

My point is he's almost played as much competitive football in 7 days as he has in the previous year.... I was surprised he played 3 games in a week to be honest so no I'm not surprised he's not been involved today. I haven't said he was doing 'so well' - please point me in the direction! I said he made the winner last week, and he's played almost as many minutes in 1 week as he has here in 1 year! He said that he found that tough 3 games in a short space - It will take any player time to play 90 Minutes regularly when you haven't done it for years and play well. I'm not sure what you expected him to do!

What ?
I would imagine CP and MR had an agreement that Lollypop would be eased into playing the full 90 minutes of a pro league match, Of which he has hardly done,
And agree that playing 200 and odd minutes in the last 2 weeks may well have taken its toll on a lad that has struggled to atune himself to full time football, He is only playing the in the league below us, 3 leagues above where he last played regular 90 mins.
Pray tell clever clogs of how that is in your opinion, Embarassing bullshit.

If he cant play regular 90 min football at scunny then hes no use to us whatsoever.....we play the same number of games but in less wks due to international breaks! He hasnt been given a fair crack of the whip here.....but not by powell so much as the numpty who bought him when he was full of vim and vigour and then never used him. Regrettably injuries have plagued him since and imho it aint looking great for him at this level unless he really pushes on quickly now.

Given that Scunthorpe have been on a poor run of late, isn't it just possible that Robins for tactical reasons decided to leave Lolley on the bench today? Why do people assume that because he wasn't starting that he's somehow not good enough or fit enough? Alex Ferguson had a habit of leaving talented players out of the starting line up but folk didn't used to question his tactics. Now I know Robins isn't Ferguson and we're only talking about Scunthorpe but you bet your boots that Powell would have gone the cautious root had we been on the run Scunthorpe have. He only changed it to a more attacking formation at Charlton because of an injury to Hogg.

I've said what do pros do in midweek beside s nowt No player can play 90 minutes if the manager decides to take him off. Hogg's often been subbed at Town yet is allegedly the fittest player at the club. Managers make changers for tactical reasons and taking a flair player like Lolley off for a more defensive minded player is something that both Robins & Mr Cautious are renowned for.
