My paper yesterday said Ranieri wants him back at the end of the loan as cover for Fuchs.
We have stopped leaking goals down his side of the pitch when we were conceding one or two a game down that flank before he came. Stating the bleeding obvious I suppose but it just shows what an improvement in quality in any position gives you. We will need a left back as priority in Jan. - as well as all the other priorities.

Derby and Brighton can do one, why on earth would they want him to move to another club in the same league?! He's playing every game and being well looked after, cant see why him moving clubs would be on the agenda.

Leicester will surely want him to play in a team for the best team possible, so he can mix with better players. Fact of life, I'm afraid.

Possibly - but Derby have a got a first choice left back so he'll be on the bench there as cover. Not sure what Brighton have at left back - but wouldn't be too surprised if they come back towards us in the table. Playing regular first team football is better for him imho. Weller is negotiating with Leicester apparently.

Seriously though I don't think playing with better players is necessarily priority number one, its more the quality of the opposition, the game time he's getting, the quality of the coaching etc etc. He's a very young lad, a bit of stability in what is his first taste of mens football is important. I'd be amazed (not to mention pissed off) if Leicester loaned him to another championship club so soon. If they need him for their own squad or to sell its a different story obviously and he'll be off.

If they do pull him from Town to loan to another Championship club then I hope as Goodshot suggests he rides the pine thus not benefitting Leicester at all. Does that make me bitter I guess so! Season's greetings to all men - except the ones that wish to weaken Huddersfield Town's team!

It may depend on how the lad mimself feels. He looks fit and seems to enjoy his football, he is certainly more expansive with his play compared to when he arrived. If he is happy here with the coaches and other players that could be a major factor. Personally, if he is happy here and as he is playing full games regularly, I don't see much sense in sending him to Brighton, which is a long way from Leicester. Derby would be more convenient but not sure he would be guaranteed playing as much football. I can see him here for the season.

Heard tonight that he's close to joining Liverpool for £4m. Hope they loan him back if true!

Why would he go go Brighton, derby? Same reason we gave for Hiwula to go to a top league 1 team rather than walsall... Oh
Best case we keep him for the rest of the season
The lad will play for England - yes bold statement

Telegraph link to report that Chilly is Liverpool bound for 4 million quid. To add balance to this report, was at the match the other day talking to a scout from Liverpool who has watched him a bit for them and though he rates him on the ball, he thinks he's a tad light weight when defending off it. At least for them anyway. Either way way if he goes to Liverpool there might be a chance he'd be loaned back to us for the rest of the season.

Staying for the season with us I reckon. Young player getting great experience. Why would Leicester sell prime youth talent for relatively small money. A guy with bags of potential. Can see him in their first team next year.

According to the DM Liverpool are ready to offer £4 million for him.
SORRY--SOMEONE BEAT ME TO THAT SCOOP.

I can't see any way that Leicester will sell him, especially for £4m, which is peanuts in the premier league these days.

Maybe Leicester would prefer to placed him with a team who plays more like them?
In interview on Radio Leeds a couple of weeks back he hinted that Town under Wagner better suited his play than how Leicester play (I've no idea how they play).
He's got the 1st team experience now, if he wants to play for Leicester in 2016/17 he probably needs to go elsewhere to develop his game.

Leicester would sell him because he has no intention of signing a new contract with them. So they can accept what's offered or risk a tribunal

As good as he is, he's not quite ready for the Premier league just yet... he's still a bit rough round the edges defensively. A couple of years in the Championship and he will be. Liverpool buying him would be our only chance of keeping him for a second season, I'd have thought. Terrific prospect.

That article indicates to me that if they bought him they'd want him in their squad immediately but I'd hope Klopp would have a different opinion. Got to go along with others here though, I doubt Leicester would sell for 4m now he's playing so well for us in the Championship, if they turned down 3.5m in the summer

In interview on Radio Leeds a couple of weeks back he hinted that Town under Wagner better suited his play than how Leicester play (I've no idea how they play). He pretty much has the left wing to himself at Town, and carte blanche to go forward, as long as he tracks back quickly enough when there's a threat(which he's athletic enough to do). So yes, I can imagine 4-2-3-1, with the left sided attacking midfielder tucked in, suits him. Everyone can see that his attacking game is first class. If only we had a similar individual on the right! Leicester play 4-1-4-1, I think, so he wouldn't have as much freedom and space to run into.

I think Leicester can afford to turn down bids of £4m, and with the possibility of Champions League football next season why would they weaken their squad of players ?

They could play hardball but the player himself could push for a move, which would make it difficult for them to keep him, although they should get more than £4m for him.. What a top quality player, unbelievable he's only 18! If Bolton is his final game for town I've got to say what a pleasure it's been to watch him play in the famous Blue & White.. I've no doubt this lad will go on to play for England! He's got everything required imo & could step into any premier league side now & not look out of place.. Top, top player who'll be damn near impossible to replace without spending £££.
