Watch that game again mate (Huddersfield v Wednesday at yours) you never battered us pal we just knew your tactics and stopped you playing and comfortabley dealt with you on the day . Also if you raise your hands in the box and you touch the ball you risk it being a penalty ...get over it lad. Our 'tactics' being, playing better football than you? What a lot of passes ? Clue is this ...you have to score goals and you got ermmm zero. Let's see how you lot get on against some big sides coming up before you get too carried away eh ?

A footballing lesson I've never read such bollocks in my life. You were lucky and we had an off day. Spanking a worldy in and scoring against 10 men is not a footballing lesson. Once we changed our tactics and subs second half you couldn't cope with us. Also I didn't hear any foul cries in the build up to the Wallace goal...you've all saw something that looks worse on the box after and latched onto that as an excuse. Carlos 4 wagner 0 It was a foul, it was clear at the time, I haven't seen any replays. Second half was more even, after you couldn't get the ball off us first half. You resorted to long balls as we kept taking the ball off you in first half. You then score a long shot, but we looked comfortable. After the sending off, and when we put two CBS up front, you had more chances. Not surprising really. As I say, I'd take our manager, style and team over yours any day.

And we are still above you. Even though your strikeforce cost more than our entire squad.

Guys, where looking like a right bunch of whinging bad losers here, yes we played well yes we looked good like with the home game against wednedsay but just the same as that one wednesday scored we didnt. doesnt matter how much possesion we had in either game or how many shots we had and they didnt they scored goals in both games hence won them.
wednesday know how to beat us they let us have all the possesion then tun up the heat and attack and score we dont we pass it about and keep it but dont actually look like scoring. stop been so sore losers it looks bad.

odd that having no shots on target, allowing the opposition 60 odd % possesion and at least 3 very decent chances in the first half becomes a 'master plan' after a good shot, poor reffing decision and a late bundled breakaway goal in the second half becomes a 2-0 home win??
your manager is not a great tactician but he is clearly a bloody good medium... best ask him to give you the lottery numbers for friday.. bet he saw the brexit vote and trumps election long, long before they happened..
wendies were not good, we were not bad, they got a goal and a decision whilst both teams had a very 'ordinary' day at the office..
maybe Carvahal can get games of just one half in the future, he obviously knows beforehand wether its worth either team playing one of them??
Allowing possession is very much different from allowing 3 very good chances and doing absolutely nothing in attack, at home..

Second half we changed it and it worked and won yet again.

And not because they'd been on poor form? Can you help me jog my memory?

In the 12 games we've not won, how many of those did we deserve to lose due to an abject performance? Pretty sure the more rational Wed fans will realise they got lucky today with the run up to the first goal...Win next week, Wed lose, we're back to where we started at 3PM today... They don't exist. Despite seeing screen grabs on twitter of Wells shirt clearly being pulled they are saying it was actually Wells who made the foul. What about the screen grabs clearly showing Forestieri onside ? What about the video showing Payne jumping in 2 footed ? What about the seconds leading up to the screen grab clearly showing Wells shirt being pulled showing Wells ragging Hutchinson all over ? 68% possession 1st half ? unfortunately when 80% of that possession is in your back 4 you don't score goals You were marginally better in the first half of a deathly dull tactical game but Wednesday absolutely dominated play 2nd half AS for big spending Wednesday about £13m i think and we are still playing catch up from 20 years of spending nothing you know those years when teams were spending on players like Wells which side was that again ? We love Huddersfield they always donate 6 points I really hope that Wagner and the Hudds players show the same level of delusion that im reading here because if they do then you will fade away The decision to disallow the Rotherham goal was disgraceful as was the awarding of the foul that gave them the free kick that lead to it swings and roundabouts dear boys swings and roundabouts

Not surprised you lot play at the John Smiths stadium! So bitter! In four games since Wagner and carvalhal have gone against each other Wednesday have scored 7! You lot 1! Wednesday have won all four games yet you still go on about better football, better tactics and bad referees! Could you lot get any more embarrassing on here!? Good manager, great chairman, totally deluded fans!

So the WUM's are back...
Best we let this thread die a death & move on to next Sat folks. 46 games will define the season for Town, Wed and all the other clubs. Some clubs will get to see promotion or make the play-offs on merit, others with a bit of luck...
I could have tried to be classy & put some measured response to the WUM's, but you might as well bang your head against the wall. So instead I'll just say go and f*ck yourselves and hope you fail in the last half of the season...
To the sensible Wed fans on here - thanks for the banter, think we'll both still be thereabouts come May but it's a league of fine margins, so consistency is key. I'm glad as a Town fan that we do now have some consistency and regardless of what happens this season I think we can establish ourselves as a top 30 club for the foreseeable future... I'm glad that our expectation levels aren't as great as yours seem to be, but to be fair you're a big city club & like Leeds it must grate on you to be out of the limelight for so long...
As the money gets ever more dafter I actually think it adds to the challenge for clubs in your position, because there will be some Wednesday-ites who've dropped away from attending after a few yrs in the doldrums. Winning fans like that back takes effort, we're doing it through ticket incentives, a feel-good factor in the club, but as you can see from being on here, the honeymoon period won't last forever...
If we both fail this yr, it would be nice to see the Blades up in the Championship next yr, some nice tasty games to look forward to, especially if you add in the CoE just down the road from us...
On to the next 3 games - 3 away for you, 3 home for us. Both of us up against Brighton in those games as well, so we could do each other a favour in those games. Long season ahead...

Must admit that I don't remember any part of that game when Wednesday were dominant (save perhaps 5 mins after first goal). I'm not one of those Wednesday hating fans but I genuinely felt that Wednesday were really poor throughout the game - we really missed a great opportunity to get 3 points. On the evidence of yesterday, Wednesday won't make the play-offs and our lack of finishing power means we probably won't either.

I agree though we look a better team than Wednesday but they got the win and that's all that matters really. We are so short on firepower up top to get the goals we need to enable us to stay the distance but I really hope we do get in a couple of strikers in to help us get the goals we so desperately need.

When you see what Wednesday fans are paying to watch their team, compared to what we're paying to watch Town, I know who I'd rather support and it isn't Wednesday.

Going on that logic you could become perhaps a Bradford fan next season maybe if they play decent football and the prices are lower then at yours ? Rent a fan ....not bad idea for clubs that !

I agree with the opening and I'm beginning to think even the most reasonable of fans of any club wear rose tinted glasses when it comes to refereeing decisions. However, I'm not really sure how scoring a 30 harder in a fairly even game equates to them knowing how to beat us. Two decent teams with not much between them, learn from it and move on.

Fine margins. We've fallen foul of them. Just be nice if a Wednesday fan were to also say that - I can accept being beaten, even unfairly, if the opponents know how to win with something resembling grace. We accept we need more firepower, though. We do need a clinical striker - and were we to get one this week I'd be tempted to drop Wells into the no.10 role if Palmer's out and an appeal against Payne's sending off doesn't succeed and have him running from deep. I just get the feeling that in this system that might suit his game and help us get more bodies into the box.
