All this nonsense about I'm not going cos it's too costly,so you people expect the rest of us to go on your behalf or do you want us all to boycott the game in which case surely it could be counter productive and detrimental to Towns performance when playing in front of virtually no support,if you don't want to go for other reasons, fair enough but use the cost of a ticket to let Town down! Please try engaging your brain before posting next time. Thanks.

We boycotted Sheffield Utd and hammered them that night so numbers of fans supporting made no difference whatsoever.
Knew they'd over price this one so they can sod off.

It's not the price fore me but I do think the FL should make a cap for max away price. It's a really horrid area, horrid run down away stand.

As for Sheff Utd away. We still took a thousand and did make a right old racket. I will be up for the Wednesday match even though its 200 miles away and £36 in. Mind you I have only missed Preston away to date. Luckily. Overnight stay in Dronsfield or Town too in some hotel. It can be expensive following the Town but its worth it.( Sometimes ). Remember J R at Wednesday. That magical comeback. Some things you don`t want to miss. Beating the Massive away would be terrific . I will be giving my full vocal backing same as at Wigan. Yes I have a S C and have had for years. Posted by hughphamismabout an hour ago We boycotted Sheffield Utd and hammered them that night so numbers of fans supporting made no difference whatsoever. It's just too poor a ground for me to enjoy the football. There's no parking, no room to sit. Poor match day experience. This. I know some of the more ageing grounds have that old school charm about them, but Hillsborough is just crap full stop, and the surrounding area is fucking awful. The JSS may not be amazing, but at least we don't charge teeth pulling prices and have stupid bloody pillars blocking the view. They desperately need a new ground. It really should've been bulldozed in '89. I find it hard to believe that it passes safety standards. Old quaint grounds are fine when there's a few hundred of you at a bury or an Oldham but Wednesday are meant to be, or at least think they are a big club and tbf they get big numbers. Instead of over paying tossers like foresty and Hooper they should invest in their facilities and give away and home fans a decent match day experience.

I'm off to this one, going to Wigan. In fact I'm going to go to as many games as poss, for the rest of the season home and away. This is the best thing I've seen in years and I don't want to miss it. If we do the Massive it will be worth every penny and some.

I love old grounds but I find it hard to believe the Leppings Lane terrace is STILL being used (albeit with bolted on seats) nearly 30 years later. If ever an end needed completely demolishing it is that one. The kop is also a revamped terrace, the external appearance would disgrace a B and Q warehouse, and what they think of as a modern stand has been there since 1966. Add in the fact its miles from the city centre and that tram feels like the longest journey ever, its an all round shit experience. Massive my arse.

Is there an official DATM allotment somewhere with a crop of ripening bell ends? There's too many of them appearing now for it to be happening by chance.

For £37 a girl can get a decent pair of shoes, or a bloke can get a decent lap dance.
Based on that conclusive evidence, where is the value in spending it on watching a football match?

It may be a ludicrous price but beg borrow or steal - just get yo the game and support the lads if at all possible. On a more serious note, I wonder if the club could set something up to 'sponsor' fans to go - there are times I can't go because of work or family commitments but I would be prepared to make a donation to the ticket if another fan, especially someone whose finances are very tight.

Helping SW charge that much puts me off agreeing, but if distance was the reason for high cost I would contribute.

given our unbeaten run, the fact we've put distance between us and 7th place now (6 points) and we're slowly closing in on the auto's - I'm thinking Hillsbrough is a must for me now. This is not a crucial game, but an important one..the team will need their fans to support them - if we can take almost 4,000 to Wigan, and Sheffield is only down the road, we need to be there in BIG numbers. Wednesday will have 25,000+ home fans there..so we need to make the effort. We've a cheap game next weekend against Port Vale so hopefully we can put a bit by to go ?

Never mind giving this shower of shit a penny, quite a few pennies as it turns out.
Helping to pay the wages of that cheating little diving bastard Forestieri or any of the rest of the Premier League Players they have on big wages, not a fecking chance.
Instead turn up for the cup Match against Port Vale on Saturday and give your money to a Club who is deserving of the support and money through the gate and who will be spending money to strengthen the playing staff at Huddersfield Town in the transfer window (granted some may be going to both).
