Just had a word with Billing, confirmed it was his groin and the prognosis is not good.

Another injury for him from having to overstretch because he gave the ball away.
Every time he gets injured seems to be from trying to rectify a mistake

At least with Billing off Mooy could play in his best position

at least with billing off we managed to get payne on who ran a lot and chased a lot and scored ..
billing looks like a talented footballer who could really do without all the running and the chasing involved..
sorry but his work rate and attitude leaves us a man light against teams like preston..
shame as he can play but he might need a better team around him and just play the games that are easy..

In the long term, this is bad... we will need all hands on deck to win promotion.
In the short term, it helped... it allowed Mooy to play in the role where he is able to orchestrate the play far better and from where he has been most effective throughout the season.
Get better soon, Phil.

Memory going now - it was my ankle ligaments v Wheelright - did the groin 13 years later at Bletchley Park - but that's a story for another day.

I must admit, I just don't see the hype that has surrounded this Lad. In 'flashes', yes he has looked brilliant and injuries haven't helped.
In my opinion though something just ain't right here, he has never for me fully taken the chances in the side when they have come along.
So, potentially for sale as no longer part of plans? or absolutely keep. He is still very young and still has a part to play at Town?.

Don't know if it was true or not.

Think he shows bucketloads more potential than Mooy did at the same age (21).

Think he'll do well in the Prem. Kind of player that manages to look languid by creating space & time for himself on the ball. Definite keep.

I would think he will be going nowhere due to that rule of having one homegrown player on the pitch in a few seasons

Suspect same with all our players, don't have to sell but they all have a price. Just how it should be too.

He's got bags of ability so I would keep him for now. He always looks as though he plays 2 gears lower than everyone else though and that's going to have to change if he's going to be able to make it in the prem. if anyone can get the best out of him it's our David.
