Fob the stats off because they don't agree with your perception if you like but the facts are in terms of tackling, interceptions, blocks he was right up there in the entire league. I guess he's really lucky that every time the opposition attacked they attacked in this 5 yard circle he ran around in... If he put no effort in during games would his fellow colleagues who are with him every day and played with him every week have voted him their best performer last season? I'm going to take a wild guess that your particular perception would lead you to believe Hogg was more effective? Yet when you look at the facts and not just your rose tinted specs I'm afraid to say he wasn't. Wow. Remind me to be as aggressive in response to one of your posts sometime. This board sometimes. FFS. I happen to think he is an OK footballer worth about what has been paid for him. No more, no less. I thought my post was actually pretty balanced and reasonable, if you'd bother to read it properly. The stats point applies to everyone - not just Phil Billing. They can easily mask the true nature of performances.....and under-represent others who are being effective. I'm not a fan of stats full-stop. Not just regarding Phil Billing. So my point about 5 yards was illustrative - understand? A bit of advice - don't waste your energy on making wild guesses at how I perceive other players - you're putting words in my mouth and actually, you're wrong on the Hogg suggestion. What a pathetic thing to suggest - I never even mentioned him! Get a room with Phil if you like him that much. It looks like you're the one wearing the rose tinted specs. And you said my post was aggressive "Get a room with Phil if you like him that much". Are you still at school or pissed up? Grow up just because I'm pointing you towards facts you want to ignore because they don't agree with what you think does not mean I want to sleep with him. Either finish school or sleep it off mate there was no aggression in my post you've had a tantrum because someone disagreed with you, it happens.

I doubt he will go further than Bournemouth and may not even be a regular there unless his attitude changes. Time will tell. I am glad he’s gone as you simply can’t depend on someone with a piss poor attitude like that. Of course he won’t go further than Bournemouth...that means signing for Everton or Arsenal. He’s had a club of an incredibly high standard sign him, because he’s a decent footballer. When we were eating the EPL as a club with lower current day stature than Bournemouth, we werent signing players because they were shit (even though some turned out to be). And neither are they (although he may turn out to be).

Pretty clear to me that he will indeed be missed, just like he was last season. Results might not have been much better with him in the side up to xmas but the performances certainly were. We went from being pretty unlucky to lose a lot of time to deservedly losing almost all the time. Over the whole campaign, he was probably our best player last season. Losing your best player is always going to be a blow for any side. But circumstances dictated he had to be sold and we got a decent price. Not as much as we'd have got if hed stayed playing in the way he was until he and/or JS decided he wouldn;t play anymore, but still a decent price. Concise and accurate

"The difference between an acronym and initialism is that the abbreviation formed with initialisms is not pronounced as a word, rather you say the individual letters, such as FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), and DVD (Digital Video Disk*)."
