And we've reverted back to cretin mode 😖 One man’s opinion isn’t devalued because it differs to your own? Except he's doing it just to get a reaction, although he did forget to call him a llama this time

£15 is a snip for a player who can match the premier leagues best midfielders on his day. With better players around him he’ll be even better. He’s a complete footballer- can pass, head, tackle, run and shoot. Should’ve been a bidding war for him rather than this fire sale. He’s worth £30M at today’s prices all day long. Can match the Premier League's best players on his day? 😂 If you genuinely think Billing can perform anywhere near the levels of de Bruyne, David Silva, Kante or Ozil on ANY given day then you probably need an urgent MRI scan. £15M is a good deal for both clubs. Do you mean a CT scan. An MRI doesn’t measure brain activity. Our midfield of Hogg/Mooy/Billing saw us competing against most teams last year. We were rarely outplayed or outclassed unlike the previous season. We had no wide men or strikers to really compete in terms of the results. Billing is a bonefide premier league midfielder with 40 odd appearances and 3 goals to his name. If you think £15M is Billing’s worth then take off your town blinkers and compare him with other players in that price bracket as a utter poster has above.

Nice piece of business if true. I will be very happy for Town to move on and for Billing to do the same.

Bournemouth are light years ahead of us man. We won’t be catching them or anyone else of that wealth or squad quality probably ever again. They bought the lad from scouse ripoff transfer fc and he barely even played- £20M on a lad who’s 3rd or 4th choice up front. Different worlds. I wasn't seriously suggesting they will get relegated, I said "who knows we might pass Bournemouth" so lighten up man. However the simple fact is that 3 teams will be relegated this season from the Premier League and so there is a possibility that it might be Bournemouth, and if that were to be the case I would find it particularly sweet that the media darlings with their genius of a manager were heading out of the Premier League, then let's see how big the gulf is between our clubs. Of course I’d love that to happen but it’s very unlikely given their squad. They’re not a bigger or better club than us they’ve just had a much wealthier owner for the last 10 years. THAT is the ONLY reason they’re ahead of us. Well, I suppose I’d have to say it’s because they spent their money better too but they spunked £12M on Afobe so possibly not!

Bournemouth will fall away once their billionaire owner has had enough. He won't be around forever. They get really stroppy when the wealth of their owner is mentioned. I put something on Twitter last week and some bloke replied with a screenshot that said he was worth £100m. Apparently the money they spend is just the TV brass, he didn't like it when I asked if the players were playing for free then 🤣 I saw that, what a fucking salad. Fair play to them but they'll slink off back to L1 at some point sooner rather than later.

15m is light.
I hope we have a very large sell on clause instead.

15m is light. I hope we have a very large sell on clause instead. It is for the player, but consider the context. 12 months left, ostracised after a public falling out and no squad number. A good deal in those circumstances, shame how it all planned out but we’ve done well out of Billing overall. Anyone know what percentage the Danish club we bought him from will get?

The report says "up to" £15m. Depends whether you trust Dirk or "the report" . Either way our resident expert Otium has huge dollops of omelette to clean off his face (although he is never wrong )

What did we spend on Mbenza and Diakhaby, for them to not even be on the bench? £7m for the pair...

Examiner now saying £15m plus add ons. I think they're say the fee is above £15m and then there are add-ons on top of this, which would be even better!
