£15m is a fair price for someone who will be left to rot in our reserves. At Christmas, he was getting linked with a £25m move to Watford to replace Doucoure. Unfortunately since then he has burnt a few bridges which has cost both us and him financially. On his day, he is our second best player (with potential to be our best). He can pretty much do it all. He can pass, shoot, tackle, dribble and run. He can play as 6 and as a 8 whilst also being able to cover more advanced and defensive positions. With that said, his attitude stinks (and has ruffled a few feathers in the past dating all the way back to Powell). That is what will fundamentally hold him back unless it drastically changes. Billing leaves in the same way Hunt and Rhodes left. Grateful for his past contribution but will not be getting any recognition or acknowledgement when he returns. Not a chance you can lump Rhodes with Billing. Rhodes never publicly slagged a manager off. Rhodes never downed tools. Rhodes didn’t perform for half a season and then laid low. Rhodes was the main reason we got out of a league. Nothing he did resulted in his value decreasing. He scored 2 in 3 in the Championship before leaving if I remember correctly. Was a professional till the end. Can’t hate the guy for going for more money to a team in the same league. Billing..... just get rid. I don’t hate the guy. I’d just prefer to take the money and forget about him. Bang a decent sell on clause in there and leave it be Apart from Rhodes threatening to refuse to play for us again if he didn't get a move, him and his fat c*** of a father can go fuck themselves

I'm glad it is all over tbh. It will be interesting to see how he gets on in a team that seems to have a really good work ethic.
Billing could go either way in his career. He has talent but application and footballing intelligence are not his strong points. I would also question his ability to be 90+ minute player.
Time for everyone to move on but I will be watching on with a fair bit of interest to see how it pans out for him.

All ears ..... weave your way out of this one One throwaway statement...decrying his attitude and saying he will end up at a team LIKE Bury. Also said he has talent but will not have a stellar career. Lots of shite players get moves for big money. Its Bournemouth...not Real Madrid....and they will be below Town within 2 years. Still not performing, still not an international, still pissing people off. Wait and see what happens first gobshite. If you are going to trawl me you have to have an point, not a chip (Chips) on your shoulder. That's a bit like saying War and Peace is a short story

We’ve just lost the Danish Messi With Long Legs, for a mere £15 million, we’ve been robbed. Manager and Chairman need to be sacked for this massive blunder.

Good deal all round if it goes through.
£15m for a player who downed tools months ago = good deal for us. £15m for a player of Billing's ability = good deal for Bournemouth. Billing gets to showcase his talents in the PL, at a good club.
I won't wish him well though. His attitude means that as far as I'm concerned he can bollocks. And if I see him at the JS I will boo him as loudly as I can. The massive twat.

I predict he will be all fart and no shit. Reminds me of when we signed Oscar Goburn.
On another note if 15 million is the fee then we sold him for more than the following players (we signed) combined:
Aaron mooy Karlan grant Christopher Schindler Jonathan Hogg
If that ain't good business then nowt is

He just said Bournemouth will be below town in 2 years. Cling to that one, he squirms out through technicalities but that seemed pretty ipso facto to me

I'm a bit "meh" about it all. We've known he was going for a while. I don't think he has the minerals to make the best of what he has going for him but maybe he'll prove me wrong (he won't be the first or last 😁😁).
We needed him around December last year to step up when Mooy was injured and the silly long fucker went and hid away.
His conduct since then has been abysmal and, if he ever returns to play against us, he'll probably get dog's abuse.
I'd wish him all the best but I wouldn't mean it so I won't.

Of course I’d love that to happen but it’s very unlikely given their squad. They’re not a bigger or better club than us they’ve just had a much wealthier owner for the last 10 years. THAT is the ONLY reason they’re ahead of us. Well, I suppose I’d have to say it’s because they spent their money better too but they spunked £12M on Afobe so possibly not! It's not the only reason howe they are better than us. Agreed. He’s pretty good albeit with a huge budget- one of the strongest outside the top 6. Everton, Leicester, Bournemouth, Wolves. Is that where the hey finished in the league too? Soon if not already the league order will mirror clubs’ budgets.

Do you mean a CT scan. An MRI doesn’t measure brain activity. Our midfield of Hogg/Mooy/Billing saw us competing against most teams last year. We were rarely outplayed or outclassed unlike the previous season. We had no wide men or strikers to really compete in terms of the results. Billing is a bonefide premier league midfielder with 40 odd appearances and 3 goals to his name. If you think £15M is Billing’s worth then take off your town blinkers and compare him with other players in that price bracket as a utter poster has above. I think you'll find a CT scan is a 3d X-ray & shows only bone/radio lucent materials. You both mean a PET scan for brain activity. Well right body part at least.

We said fire us to promotion and we'll let you move on in the summer if our valuation is met. He did his bit. Then we did ours. Nothing at all to read there.

Billing has always been one of my favourites tbh, I'm disappointed to have seen him fall foul of the manager. Clearly, there's been a lot happen behind the scenes, and that what happened was clearly irreconcilable.
Personally I wish him all the best and hope that if he does ever reach the dizzying highs of his potential, we'll be in a position to have him back in the blue and white.

Apart from Rhodes threatening to refuse to play for us again if he didn't get a move, him and his fat c*** of a father can go fuck themselves Tell us what you really think. Rumour, as ever. All I know - which is what I saw at matches and know from his statistics - is that he was excellent for us whilst he was here and his goals contributed tremendously, as did his transfer fee. Only my opinion, but I'd have him back here, though I totally accept that presumably he is not now as effective as he was then. Apart from Grant possibly, name me a current Town player who you think will score, literally, a quarter of the goals he scored for us that season ( before you try, Rhodes scored more in one season than the likes of Mounie, VLP, Quaner have done in their whole careers.)

I can absolutely assure you that MRI does measure brain activity including live fMRI (functional MRI) where the patient is shown a number of images as brain function is measured. Recent 7T (seven Tesla) installations have been done at specialist Brain research centres in the UK (Cubric Cardiff, QE Glasgow and Cambridge). CT can cover all body parts, organs, tissue and bone depending on the Hounsfield Units set and the dose setting used during the scan (including injecting contrast agent for veinous reproduction).

Folk saying "only young", "will fill out" and "player of the season". Absolutely delusional...had about 4 good games in 80. Been a pro 5 years and only 80 appearances and all the filling out was long ago. Messi had 100 first team appearances by 18. There will be no stellar career and i doubt by the end of the season he will even be on the teamsheet.

Its 15m quid plus ad ons- expect it will be closed to 20m when all is said and done - and when Billing scores 20 goals this season from mdfield and is sold to Barca for 100m we will prob get 20% of that as well - so all in all 40m quid for a bang average player who if he concentrated on his game rather than sending tw@tter comments would have been a world beater for us !
