Brighton will be in that group.. They’re at ours next week. Not confident Given the point you took off them, I can see you getting a result. People seem to see Brighton as good team at this level but, I think they have just been incredibly fortunate.

Our goals were pretty fortunate yesterday Long way to go, entire bottom half of table in the scrap.

Being fortunate can keep you up. Brighton have been incredibly fortunate if you base it on the fewest injuries in the PL this season. So far they have had only one long-term injury - Sidwell who is not really considered a regular since promotion.

Sidwell - whole season (he's not considered a regular since promotion because he hasn't played a single minute - injured in summer) Kayal - half season Baldock - half season Izzy Brown - more than half season as he was injured in the opener, returned to fitness then did his ACL Bruno - couple weeks here and there We also signed someone who's injured You could claim we are fortunate that our two (and only) fit CMs haven't picked up anything since Kayal returned to fitness.

Funny innit? Think most Albion fans think we've been incredibly unfortunate, not a single goal scored this season that wasn't hard fought, whilst watching all sorts of deflections, last minute penalties and scrappy goalmouth scramble goals against us. I certainly don't think we've been lucky at all this season, but then I have blue-and-white specs on.
We have strengthened our striking options very well in the window and hopefully turned a bit of a corner, and I think most Albion fans reckon we've got enough, given how many teams are down there. We need about 3 more wins.
I think you guys understandably have a more negative view of us as we often seem to play VERY poorly against you, both last season and this were two of our worst performances in years. Play like we did against West Ham on sat and we'll stay up comfortably.

Your next 2 games look huge games, after that you have a tough run on paper.

Your next 2 games look huge games, after that you have a tough run on paper. It's about who the points come against. If we got the wins against you, Stoke and Swansea, I think that would almost do it. We are DREADFUL against the top 6 (not a single point gained) and that's a concern, so yes, we need the points now and March, as won't be getting many after that. In our hands which is the important thing, and we are good enough to do it if we play without fear. Looking like an insanely dramatic end to the season!

I can see Southampton beating Liverpool though. Who knows though? Anything can, and probably will happen.

Well done today. That’s really buggered Stoke up but we can’t just rely on others all the time Sit back and hope Manure and the Bindippers Do there stuff now Stoke should have been 2 or 3 up before half time against Bournemouth recently using lots of crosses into the box (Shaqiri scores with header? Don't see that often). So maybe other teams will notice this now and pull them back into the relegation scrap - the more the merrier! But we hope to be strolling away from that scenario now :-)

Swansea’s form shows how ridiculous it was for pundits to write us off. It’s easy to get into a winless run of 5/6 games in this league but it’s also possible to pick up 7/8 points out of 12 from the right run of games.

Interesting reading this thread. I have nothing against BHA and a couple of friends who follow them but this bit about not being lucky. Charlie Adam missing the pen and then being blatantly fouled as he went for the rebound - unbelievable! Incredible good fortune with injuries (or lack of them) as well. I think Stoke May well go and still feel that we are odds on as are Baggies. However, Soton have 7of last 11 away, I think.

We may be crap but your team is your team I’ll be renewing my ST wherever we are. I’m not sure all our 21000 season ticket holders will though 🤔

chadders51 is talking from a Stoke point of view. I think similar will apply to some of our season card holders.

Great result for you today Thought we would have matched it but for England’s No 1 dropping a right bollock Looks like the Baggies are gone Probably two from seven or eight to join them Very pessimistic about us but you must have a great chance to survive now

Still so tight down there. Geoff Boycott always said to look at your cricket score with two more wickets down than you had to see how comfortable the position was. Ten teams could look at the Premiership table after 2 consecutive defeats and be very worried!

The game against you was the big one, not today’s. If we had beaten you then you would be 4 points adrift with worse goal difference and (if other result went the same) we would be on 33 (10th!!!) with a 6 point gap to relegation zone and 10 to you. As it is we are still well in it. I hope that your result against us isn’t regretted at the end of the season but I’m a lot happier than I was after that game.

You were very poor that day and most Stoke fans thought that we would go on and climb out of trouble However it seems to have given you the kick up the arse you needed and we failed to move on Still time to go but I’d swop places with you now 😊
