Well that was an expected defeat for you and a point for us some may not have thought we’d get Lamberts done ok so far He’s stopped us getting thumpings ( mind you we’ve got Citeh next) and one win one defeat and four draws from six games is ok. Keep that up and we’ll be ok Big worry for both of us is that bloody big minus goal difference which could do for either of us in the end Anyway we’re both still in there and fighting you may be happy with a point but your game was the exact score I hoped for. Swansea for us, we have a chance but I'm worried that a lot on here seem to think we will win.

Unsurprisingly, the OPs posts coincide with Stoke picking up points and Town not. Bit unfair mate. Look back you’ll see I was on here last week congratulating you on a win. I genuinely want Town to stay up ( not at Stokes expense obviously 🙄)

One of the clowns on Soccer Saturday was saying swansea should stay up as they’re playing better than us, Newcastle and Brighton. He seemed to forget Brighton dicked them last week.

Good evening Terriers Suppose you’re a tad disappointed at today but at least it’s another point on the board and you’re not looking to bad As far as Stoke are concerned results were just about perfect particularly if Palace lose as well. It means we’re not cut adrift even if we get the expected thrashing on Monday Nice to West Ham imploding. A points deduction would be nice😊 Picture changing week by week but the Baggies are gone so two places left. Any two of seven but with us Palace and Saints in most danger. Be bloody glad when it’s over !!!!! Edit. Just seen Palace two down Brilliant

But our momentum of good form has definitely dissipated. Hit the bar and the post. Not to be today. I definitely count our games against stoke as equally disappointing. Next up, I can't tell how palace will play. Stoke, palace, west ham, Southampton and huddersfield need to dig out a win and very soon.

I disagree with the momentum post, excepting a lack of quality in final third, the effort, concentration and spirit was there.

Well that went exactly as expected. Sure you all welcome the result 😊 At least we didn’t concede 7 this time Still in touch and hoping the shambles at West Ham and Saints May just save our skins. Have to beat Everton Saturday or I think we’re gone

Pinning all hope on winning three home games v Everton Burnley and Palace. That would give us 36points but a shit GD Probably need at least one point from somewhere. A win away at West Ham ( on sky behind closed doors !!!! ) should do it 🤔

A win away at West Ham ( on sky behind closed doors !!!! ) should do it 🤔 Will you try to play a bit more football against the weaker sides? Last night it was route one tactics against City, but I accept that might have been a one off as few can go toe-to-toe with City by playing football. Has Lambert taken you back to the Pullis days of long-ball football? If so, I think you might struggle. If not, you have a chance because you actually have some very good footballers in your side if they are allowed to play.

I have been banging the drum about Everton's dreadful away record for a while now, and that being the reason why we should realistically hope for a win in our penultimate home game. I suppose this week we will find out more by their game this weekend.
I expect Stoke to win this one but with Stoke's penchant for drawing games under Lambert (except against us!) probably a draw should be most probable result.

We just can’t bloody score. Our striking options are Berihono (who’s apparently still not fit ! ). Jesse who’s useless or Crouch Crouch is the best option but that means you have to play to his strengths ie. lump it up Lamberts stopped us conceding loads and seems to have got a bit more effort out of em
Nightmare scenario Hughes goes to Saints and keeps them up Pulis gets Middlesbrough up vis play offs Stoke go down
Mass suicides in the Potteries !!!
PS pretty sure given your fixtures you’ll make it with a few points to spare

We just can’t bloody score. We had a similar problem against Swansea, of course. The woodwork defended especially well for them. PS pretty sure given your fixtures you’ll make it with a few points to spare We have shown enough to suggest that we can do it, but we will still need a bit of luck I suspect, as you always do.

PS pretty sure given your fixtures you’ll make it with a few points to spare I went to watch Real Madrid 2 and bit years ago. Jese was the best player on the pitch. This is the problem with that sort of signing, someone who's played for Real Madrid or Bayern doesn't really want to play for Stoke (or Huddersfield) after that. Should we stick around I'd hope we'd know that and stick to signing up and coming players or experienced players from smaller clubs than potentially more talented players who are on the way down the chain.

Another bad day. Unfortunately for us it was probably terminal. Think there’s only one place left now hope you can avoid it Probably between you and Saints would be my view
Been a crap season for Stoke. A talented squad which should easily have made the top half in what apart from the top six as been a very average league. Bad investment and a manager who lost the plot 12 months ago as done for us
Hey ho. At least there’s more local debies in the championship and hopefully we can have a go at bouncing back
Good luck for the remaining games

A lot can change, but yeah, it does look like that's 2 of the spots taking up. Everton (H) this season is a gift (we were the only team they had beat away this season). The Palace result was a shame, would have much preferred a home win or draw, but we are 20/1 at some places and would be a big turnaround for us to drop from this position. Still need a couple of wins though, the sooner the better.

Stoke are going as they have been for a few weeks. The Lambert bounce has been massively overplayed by the media, drawing games gets you nowhere as Lee Clark knows. Town need another 6 points which will probably be enough given how poor West Ham and Southampton are, plus their remaining fixtures are tough.

Well you’ll get one of them two weeks today if we put in another performance like today that’s for sure WBA certainly won't catch us and now Stoke 5 behind and played a game more with a very 'winnable' game gone, we really shouldn't finish lower than 18th so it is surely just one place Newcastle are trying to avoid. I was really wanting the 3 of us (promoted sides) to stay up, but we're certainly not in a position of choosing who we want to stay up if you know what I mean. To be honest, if you could hand pick 2 matches then Town and WBA at home would be high up (and we have those) but we have lost 2 of our last 3 matches against you so can't take anything for granted. That is a massive match and the winner will be thinking they are very nearly there.

Can’t see us beating you at your place, we need to get at least a point at Brighton and get 4 points from Everton and Watford at home. I think the final spot will be between us and Southampton, just have to hope they’ve left it too late to turn it around. 1 point from the last 2 games is bad, 2 points would have been acceptable. Starting to get the sinking feeling again....

No don’t think so. Probably only got two more winnable games and we aren’t even winning them
It’s been a good ten years but it’s bye bye Shaqiri and Bojan and hello to the merry journeyman of the Championship 😡

Well that was a good day for Stoke. But no doubt we’ll get stuffed at the Emirates tomorrow Bad result for you and sounds like you were well beaten Still think you’ll be safe. Saints are shocking and after our next two games against Arse and Spuds I think we’ll have to much to do
It’s still two from five but my money would (regrettably) be on Stoke and Saints
