Kevin Campbell's lad looked a bit out of his depth today Yes. Been knocking them in for the under 23s but it looked too a big a step up. Nice to see kids given a chance but not in the position we’re in. Personally as soon as he’s fit I’d go back to Crouchy

Interesting reading this thread. I have nothing against BHA and a couple of friends who follow them but this bit about not being lucky. Charlie Adam missing the pen and then being blatantly fouled as he went for the rebound - unbelievable! Incredible good fortune with injuries (or lack of them) as well. I think Stoke May well go and still feel that we are odds on as are Baggies. However, Soton have 7of last 11 away, I think. It was never a penalty in a MILLION years, so not quite sure how we’re lucky there fella.

It was also the softest penalty you will ever see, absolutely horrendous decision at the death. I already went though our injuries in this very thread, not especially lucky having 2xCMs for most of the season. Taking the blue and white specs off, I would still say we have deserved more than our current points tally shows. Everton at home being the most ridiculous of 2 points thrown away.

Palace have had the worst of the injuries out of anyone in the relegation battle, Town haven't been too bad so far.
Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

Fair comment but here is something really lucky that you may find harder to disagree with. You get to play Arsenal next Sunday after 8 days without playing during which they get 2 games v Man City and probably subsequent maulings, with just 3 days recovery. You could hardly have asked for more other than a plane carrying their team being involved in a serious crash!

I think Zaha being fit for the town game is perfect for us. Hopefully Zanka will kick shit out of him again and put him out for the season.

Who cares as long as we both stay up? Which looks a much better prospect than it did a few weeks ago.

No disrespect to the stoke team but the one player who looks like dragging you to safety is Shakiri, now I am realistic that it could just be that he is getting featured more but how does it look from your point of view? If Shakiri got injured or i would be wondering how long he can keep turning in those performances before he gave up after getting frustrated with the rest of the team.

There's already a thread on our board full of people getting way ahead of themselves. 4-0 loss it is then.

Shaq is keeping us in touch single handed at the moment. He’s a wonderful footballer but he had a very poor first half of the season. If he gets injured we’re probably fucked. And he’s probably off to a bigger club in the summer whatever happens

That’s Shaq. Brilliant one game nowhere to be seen the next. That’s why he’s currently playing for us and not one of the top six

Apart from Billing, Palmer, Smith, Lowe, Mounié, DePoitre, Kachunga, Hef and now Mooy missing quite a few games between them! It has helped that we haven't had lots of injuries in the the same positions at the same time, but we have rarely had a full squad to pick from.

Billing Smith Kachunga Lowe Hef all could be said to be squad players with more than adequate cover. Whether Palmer was a big loss early we'll never know. Zaha is absolutely fundamental To Palace as their results with and without him will testify.

Yes they seem to win more with Zaha in the team but it's not like he's this saviour that will automatically keep them up. He's scored 4 goals with 1 assist in roughly the same minutes played as VLP who's scored 5.

What's Lambert been smoking?
I quote...
"Look at the table and three points takes you to 13th I think."
Aye Paul, if everyone else loses & you win by about 15-0...

Well that was an expected defeat for you and a point for us some may not have thought we’d get Lamberts done ok so far He’s stopped us getting thumpings ( mind you we’ve got Citeh next) and one win one defeat and four draws from six games is ok. Keep that up and we’ll be ok
Big worry for both of us is that bloody big minus goal difference which could do for either of us in the end
Anyway we’re both still in there and fighting

Unsurprisingly, the OPs posts coincide with Stoke picking up points and Town not.
