Non-competitor clauses are common in many industries, and ultimately don't sign the contract if you don't want to aide by the terms. I suspect the issue will be that Boro paid them all off for terminating the contract, and so the suit is being brought to reclaim those funds.


EDIT: Boro are seeking an injunction that would stop the quartet working for Birmingham until December 28, as well as damages

This might make it harder for them to win.
