Can anyone tell me why he can’t play for us for the past 10 weeks but he can fly off and play two games for Egypt this weekend. Hope the rumours are right about him going back
He’s been another waste of space for 8,000000 so long as we get the money back

Where does it say anywhere we paid £8m for him? We announced it as undisclosed but Stoke confirmed it was £5.7m.
He's not long come back from injury.
Getting game time with the Egypt Olympic squad will be far more beneficial to him than training in Spain.
We've got a very busy period coming up & we need all our squad as fit & firing as possible.

FFS a guy with 4 million followers in Egypt, who has been injured the majority of his time here gets criticised for his social media presence by folk who obviously follow him on it!
Strange(ly) Nick has had it in for him since day one.
A wide player signed in preseason for a team that did use wingers in a 4-2-3-1 system is unsurprisingly underused when fit due to said team changing their standard formation to the use of wing backs instead of wingers.
A further consequence of this is that one of last year's mainstays VLP has already missed nearly double the PL games this season (7) than he did all last season (4) despite not been injured.

Due to being injured  12 PL games into our season and he was injured for 7 games and on the bench for 4 others. Folk demanding that EVERY new signing should hit the ground running really don't understand how it works! We sign 3 wingers (I'd call them wide players but simpleton Nick may respond) and then the manager changes to a formation that doesn't use wingers and then some folk wonder why they aren't contributing and point the finger at the players. Just bizarre! Our manager wants to play 3 central defenders and 3 central midfielders and something has to give and in our case it's the wingers. |

I hope he comes good too although if he does it won't prove me wrong, it's already a fact he cost £5.7M and hasn't contributed at all so far (its almost December). Yes he's been injured a lot of the time and when fit has been on the bench, but not made any contribution of note, same in pre-season. These are facts; not some wishy-washy, airy-fairy wish that he might come good one day based on the square root of nowt  If he does come good he'll prove Stoke fans wrong who to a man said he was crap. Really hope he proves them wrong - obviously. |

I wonder when Dave decided he wanted to play 3 central defenders as the norm? Clearly he had it in mind when he made the Kongolo deal permanent but it does beg the question why we brought in 3 new wide men (as well as keeping VLP & Kachunga). Will be interesting to see what we do at Wolves with Zanka out. |

No they didn't because he didn't pick up any serious injuries at Stoke. Infact the only month I can see he didn't play in his time at Stoke was February 2018 & I've just looked at 2 fixtures from that month & he was on the bench for both. You talking shit again Nick to justify your unjustified ramblings about a player you've hardly seen? |
