Mein Gott. Left or right full back or wingback. Like the third strip as well.

1 year deal says all you need to know about the poor lads body, hopefully he gets over these injuries. Although wagner is quoted as saying he passed the medical with flying colours.

Total guess but maybe the hold up was because we only offered him a 1 year contract with the option of a second year. He was probably hoping for longer than that but you cant blame Town as he has been out with injuries.

Great signing if he can stay injury free. His ability to play in several positions will/could be very useful.

Probably just bought his contract out and with a nominal fee, it expired next summer....similar to loaning a player for the season with the option to buy.

Playing three at back from now on then? He’s not a centre half is he, more of an addition that means Tommy Smith will only play in Cup games this season?

My question is whether we will have kongolo, schindler, and Zanka at the back as a 3 or will wagner drop one and have durm at left back

Doesn't seem so long ago we might have been signing, say, an LDV Vans Trophy winning Northern Ireland international from Tranmere.
Now we're signing a World Cup winning German international from Borussia Dortmund.
What a time to be alive.

Nice one but the lack of goals still concerns me, a striker and another winger now.

Fuck me it's a stretch to call him a World Cup winner considering he actually played no games at all in the World Cup.
