In those 2 games you can. Definitely Cardiff with 1 of the worst "decisions" I've ever seen. I'd certainly rather do that than come on here all high and mighty for predicting us to lose. Not acting "high and mighty" - justvstated an opinion in response to someone who said we'd beat all three. This is what really pisses me off about this site; anyone with an opinion which doesn't toe the party line is deemed to be not a true fan. I think that 51 years service - and all but 4 of those from miles outside the locality - permit me to have an opinion. You might not like it, but I don't tell you what to think or what to type. I've predicted us to lose before. The difference being I didn't come on here after and seem happy to be proved right. It's nothing to do with your opinion that we wouldn't win.

Having read the replies to my earlier posts I would reply that rather than being a happy clapper I like to think I see the positives over the negatives and post a balanced view of all things Town.
I genuinely think we were/are two, maybe three, different players from being able to look forward to a 3rd Premier League season. I don't think DWs tactics were necessarily the issue but he didn't have the players available to him. This was a failure of recruitment in the summer.
If you look at yesterday, Hudson changed the formation and personnel but the same challenges existed. In the period until January we couldn't really change much and we lost Mooy.
We now have to learn the lessons and move on. DW has gone, not my preferred choice but it's happened and looking forward is the only option.
15 games to build a little momentum, although we will lose players in the summer for sure. Or 15 games to try and win 8 and have a chance of staying up....highly unlikely in the extreme but we might as well have a go. The new manager has nothing to lose really now.
I choose to follow Town. I have seen some dreadful times and football to match. In my time on this board I always feel I call it as it is with realism. I naturally look at the positives where they exist.
My emotions at the moment are ones of frustration as I feel we weren't/aren't too far away but accept mistakes have been made and we have a strict budget.
What happens next season is anyone's guess right now. Much will happen before August and I couldn't predict what position we will be in on the pitch. Off the pitch we should be able to compete and be a stronger club than before DW and that with the experience gained should give us a chance.
Despite recent results we are still in a decent position and there are reasons to remain positive.
If that's being a blind happy clapper then that's what I am. I've been called worse.

Sell up Deano - don't be pandering to absolute weapons who want you to spend a fortune on players on one hand and on the next demand by far the cheapest tickets in the Championship. And you wonder why 'spoilt brats' gets brought up so often. Put them up to 300 and half the numbers.... sad i know, but that's the reality. Sure I was paying around £350 to watch dire football under a lot of managers. How anybody can complain about the pricing is unbelievable, especially when also the option to spread over 10 months. Whilst I think a lot of questions are there around what’s going on on the pitch and recent transfer activity, the Season Ticket pricing is one thing that most fans of any other clubs could only wish for!

Not so good for us OAPs, who once again are denied any form of discount. We are the only premier league club not to give any discount to senior citizens. its already cheap enough. Is there a cheaper OAP ticket in the prem ie below £249?

Yes, If I remember correctly at least three clubs give a lower price. Edit...West Ham at £160. Followed by Cardiff, Man city, then us. Just to confirm I ain't complaining.

But would say that like any other group, the 60+ will have the full range of the financial spectrum.

I know quite a few casual, pay on the day (when you could) types who are looking to pick up some of the non renewed seats, so suspect there must be quite a few more. You'd imagine that a lot of the terrier members will be wanting to as well.
I'm optimistic that the next few seasons will be better than most of the previous 30 odd that I've endured.

Surprised the club don't offer 5 or even 10 year season cards...would you pay around £2,000 for a 10 year SC ...assuming you think you'll live another 10 years ? Should earn a few away priority points that too..!

I bought a 4 year season ticket when David Taylor was running things after Rubery, unfortunately because the club went into administration the "new" HTFC were not obliged to honour them, as a goodwill gesture they offered one season "free".

No doubt there are, let's not make the mistake of assuming they all are, like some do. True but its no more of an assumption that anyone under retirement age is working or earns enough to have £249 spare to spend on football. Its already a massively discounted price so don;t think OAPs warrant another discount on top of it.

For OAP's, I'd keep the price as it is and throw in one pair of free false teeth, some Werther's Originals and the £10 voucher that can be redeemed at Shakletons.
