No doubt there are, let's not make the mistake of assuming they all are, like some do. True but its no more of an assumption that anyone under retirement age is working or earns enough to have £249 spare to spend on football. Its already a massively discounted price so don;t think OAPs warrant another discount on top of it. Did I say I was complaining? I have no problem helping to subsidise your ticket.

Is a senior over 60 or over 65? Over 60. Personally I think it should be until a person retires, also should apply to prescriptions, bus passes and eye tests.

Winging OAP 's free prescriptions, free eye tests. free bus passes, half price train fare, free T V licence for over 75's and they want a discount on discounted season cards. Give me strength

I only asked as i am approaching one of those figures but wasnt seeking a reduction . Some football grounds are over 65, ours is 60. Means testing I wouldn't want to see. Football season cards discounted or otherwise would be a luxury denied.

Surprised the club don't offer 5 or even 10 year season cards...would you pay around £2,000 for a 10 year SC ...assuming you think you'll live another 10 years ? Should earn a few away priority points that too..! I bought a 4 year season ticket when David Taylor was running things after Rubery, unfortunately because the club went into administration the "new" HTFC were not obliged to honour them, as a goodwill gesture they offered one season "free". I bought one of these as well mainly because my husband had done the same thing at Derby previously with no problems so it seemed a good idea. I ended up not losing out - I'd bought it on my credit card so claimed it back off them. As a result I got the three years money back (£750 from memory) and the one year they offered us for the goodwill gesture. I've still got all the paperwork I was sent when we went into administration as I was considered a creditor of the club.

Right, just checked back, as you say not bleating as such. My only problem would be if the prices rise to the average and still no discount for seniors, the wife going short of sustenance.

I know I said 25% moaning, but it was all a bit tongue in cheek. The fact that I've waited sixty years to not get my reduced season card is also tongue in cheek. But, those free prescriptions will come in handy.

£10 voucher you get for renewing before 11 Feb has to be used before 31 March. Has to be used on shit dog sale items then. What an incentive. Is that in the small print?

Yes, I've the same, about 200 pages of A4 relating to the clubs finances, I find it difficult to follow, more suitable to accountants and the like. With regard to the credit card companies so many of them took a hit off football clubs around this time that they altered how they did business with clubs, they would hold onto payments until "goods received" so clubs stopped taking credit cards as they didn't benefit from up front payments.

Only on DATM, you moaning git. £249 with £5 off for B&W and a £10 shop voucher if you buy within 3 weeks, the cheapest in the top two divisions and yet still people have to bitch. You can just picture it, Town to meet Real Madrid in a European final in Rome, as a thank you to the fans for their loyal support the club announce FREE aeroplane travel, DATM becomes awash with complaints of how expensive it is to park your car at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Perhaps the club will increase the season ticket prices for under 60's for 2020/21 season - i think that would be more than reasonable 😉

OAP discounts are a joke. Why should they pay less for the same product when they all have gold plated pensions and houses that they bought for threepence and ha'penny?

We have what we have,if we are fortunate to have it,because we worked bloody hard often for a pittance of a wage especially whilst undergoing five year apprenticeship with night classes in our own time . We didn't have what we couldn't afford until we could afford it. We didn't have cars for years . We didn't have holidays abroad again for years . We still had to pay our mortgage pay our bills etc etc etc from our small wages . Have some respect for those of us who do find yourself comfortable . Me and mine will enjoy all the benefits of what you allude to .
