OAP discounts are a joke. Why should they pay less for the same product when they all have gold plated pensions and houses that they bought for threepence and ha'penny? You are obviously thick as a plank if you think every person that retires have gold plated pensions, and bought their houses for next to nothing! As for OAP discounts on town season cards they don’t get any and pay the going rate.

Giving them away at £250, no further discounts required. Should think yourselves lucky, Leeds half season tickets (which wasn't even half but 11 home games) were advertised at a staring price of £270.

no OAP discount on a SC, but OAP (over 60) discount for away games, and pay on the day at the JSS... I said a few years ago, Clibbens pricing structures were crazy..now we have one price all over the stadium so i can't really complain there's no OAP discount on a £249 SC...

What's happening with these season tickets? Are they sending packs out in the post or do we buy on line? If so, why didn't they communicate this originally or did they and I missed it?

All packs are being posted, some have already arrived, some not yet. You can also renew online, at the office or via phone.

I'm still not moaning at the price. But you're saying over 60s get discount at away games (most clubs are over 65 to qualify). Over 60s get discount for pay at the gate league games(Not really needed if you've got a season card anyway) Over 60s get discount on home cup games (I'll leave you to work that one out) But like I said earlier, I'm not moaning at all and I'm well happy with the current price..

Ive still a few years to go before I can start thinking about claiming any pension I'm due but I'd like to think the post was made in jest rather than the snide dig it comes across as, Shame n you if not, terrierneil. And if anybody's counting, just done mine on line, consecutive season ticket holder from 1975 ( including a 4 year bond under David Taylor's ownership ) and currently on 465 points ( with a season card to add ) for my HTFC online account. Anybody beat that ?

The 'parchment, hand scribed Season Tickets' from 1975 will be worth something? before that you could exchange 2 groats or a rabbit to get in.....I liked the old money, with a ten bob note and some shiny shillings and a threpence you were a king on your birthday.. rushing out to buy a subbuteo team..

I think you'll find that in those days all 12 of us that were season ticket holders operated under the same system that the coal mines used to employ for underground workers, when we entered a turnstile we were given a numbered brass disc which we gave back as we left, that way an accurate record was kept for the attendance, none of this tickets issued ninsense when I was a lad.

It is difficult for the younger set, the 30 somethings, but a resentment of older folk isnt the answer. As one poster put it " we didnt have what we couldnt afford, we waited until we could afford it" . There is a sense of entitlement with youngsters but hey ho. On the bright side by the time they reach 60 there might be a differential in the ticket prices for them to enjoy. Now where did i put my gold plated pension documents.?

Mainly because they can't afford the same things, eg houses, given the ridiculous prices these days.

As an OAP I had a big decision to make. Do I renew at £249 or do I invest £80 million? If I invest £80 million I get free tickets for life but at my age ... So I renewed. UTT

At £50 a goal or £250 a win for home games this season these prices dont seem so attractive after all.

In the official blurb it said something like renew before march, remember there are 2000 supporters/ members waiting to take your place. Er good luck with that one.
