“Fans buy tickets on credit with Zebra, while clubs get money up front so the contract is between the supporter and Zebra. The news means there will be major issues with cash flows for clubs unless a new credit company can step in.”
Surely the second sentence is irrelevant scaremongering?
The clubs have their money already, why would they have cash flow issues...unless we’re talking about clubs who don’t put season ticket deals on sale until as late as now (which is a decreasing minority).

Used my Terrier membership to get my first season ticket since we were promoted from League One. Hoping for a bounce back season now.

I managed to get my season ticket at the ticket office, fortunately it seems a decent seat in the riverside lower. I am quite chuffed and there was a steady stream of fans purchasing tickets this morning.I am certain they will be selling a lot more on line.

Only a few left in south stand Have they worked through the waiting list already and it’s now a free for all? www.htafc.com/news/2018/september/new-terrier-membership-launched/“ Do you want to be a Huddersfield Town Season Card holder for the 2019/20 season? Well, by purchasing a Terrier Membership you will be automatically put on the waiting list for the next campaign.” “If you’re a Town fan who isn’t a Season Card holder living in the UK or abroad, this is why you should become a Terrier Member: - Priority and £2 discount when purchasing home tickets - Put on the 2019/20 Season Card waiting list”

There are loads of tickets left all over if people want 1, and loads of seats together as well. Nothing like a mass free for all.
If people can't be bothered going online or ringing up the morning they go on sale then that's their own fault.

If they'd sold out in 30 mins I'd get people being annoyed. They haven't, they're still available, and everyone has been told what they need to do. Complain if they want that what they were told was a bit different to what's happening, but if they don't get a ST they only have themselves to blame.

It was really easy to pick one online. Thankfully there was one seat on its own next to my mates in the RW upper that no one would want, so that was easy.

Trying to work this out from Jarvis.
We sold 19k last year. He said a 94% retention rate. That means c17800 sold.
We have 1500 available now. This tweet suggests that we're only selling 18k, or we haven't managed to shift 200 this morning. I'm pretty sure it's the former.
So where are the other 1300?

Only a few left in south stand Why would someone buy tickets online and then go down to the Ground to buy another? There probably a perfectly simple answer, it's just that I can't work it out. Or did he buy it online whilst waiting in the queue?

Another example of poor/misplaced communication from the Club. People may renew their season tickets (as I have) but to make that comment the day after we equalled the record for the quickest club to be relegated from the Premier League...

Spurs tickets were released early this morning too, as it sounds were season cards online. I’ve been in a queue at the ticket office before and been able to buy on my phone, while the ticket office are saying they can’t sell tickets yet. I understand that nobody deserves abuse about their job, but Sean’s departments aren’t without fault, and after his rant about being abused for the football side, a tweet like that is misjudged at best.

Come on! hes not saying the club dont care about being relegated! hes saying the fans are still behind the club despite being relegated.
Not everything the club does or says needs criticising!

Of course it does. These ‘fans’ thrive on making the club (their club) and its staff feel as shit as possible.

Going to be a big effort to move these. Wonder what the incentives will be for early purchasers, if any? Time to admit you were talking out of your arse mate

Not surprised to be honest, it was poorly worded. As i said i could understand the message he was trying to get across, just not the best choice of words. He is a good bloke though Sean and does great work for the club.

Just needs to rein himself in at times like many commercial bods, and temper his poetic licence over the number of SC sales !

Anyone worked out how many we've actually sold yet, or what that 94% meant? Because it sure as hell wasn't 94% of 19000.
