Indeed he does. Just needs to rein himself in at times like many commercial bods, and temper his poetic licence over the number of SC sales ! Anyone worked out how many we've actually sold yet, or what that 94% meant? Because it sure as hell wasn't 94% of 19000. f the target is 18000 according to the town site this morning there are around 750 left for general sale on Monday. so about 17250 sold

450 season cards left. Good effort that considering the dross season we've all had to endure 👍

Less than 125 left before they are sold out. Not too shabby that.

Superb achievement and another reason the coming season is vital, another depressing season and we'll be back down to previous levels or less before you know it.

The fans are the most impressive thing about the club & the players now need to show us how much they appreciate us with performances on the pitch, not words in a press conference.

An absolutely top effort for a town our size. It was only three or four years back when some people were saying we'd struggle to get these numbers even if we did make it to the premier league one day. Bring on next season, can't bloody wait.

I can recall these debates on here about what crowds Town would get if the miracle happened and we ended up in the prem. Some had us getting as low as 16 or 17k and maybe 20k for the big games. And then that we'd be straight down to 12k again as soon as we got relegated. Weve probably surprised ourselves at how our support has grown and the fact its stuck after relegation ( even after a season as bad as that! ) is tremendous news. Massive tonic for the new owner and for the club going forward.

I really don't know why people are surprised. We've always had great support for a Town our size. £250 season tickets plus the new fans we've picked up from the Premier Lge, we were always gonna sell a shed load.

The FML and away end obviously not available for SC sales so we should be around 20k sold?

I believe its limited to around 18,000. On top of that there's the south stand away plus the lower FL tier. The capacity dropped a little with the changes made for PL. Then there are the boxes and posh seats, plus match day sponsors tickets.

Wonder if they'll reduce that overextended camera gantry at the back of the Kilner bank stand. Don’t think I saw it even half full whilst we were in the premier league. I suppose it created a few more category oner's if nowt else..

I'd be interested to know the actual attendances towards the end of last season as there was a serious amount of empty seats at every game, probably from Burnley onwards. I'm not suggesting anything as low as 16k but there was an understandable drop off when it became clear that we were heading for the drop.

But here’s an odd thing...and I’m sure I’m not alone here...I’d actually decided by about September that I’d ONLY renew if it looked like there was a good chance we’d be relegated...and if we’re in and around the top end next season come January, I probably won’t automatically renew, and will wait until after the season ends before I decide to or not. I’m more than happy to never see a live Premier League game ever again.

Anyone who doesn’t want to see us win as many games as possible is wrong in the head.

Obviously I want us to win as many as possible and get promoted...I’m just not really that interested in seeing it if we get there 🤷♂️ (additionally I think the actual real likelihood of promotion is very slim) It’s a bit of a dichotomy, but I’m just being honest.

I admire your honesty and yes we want to be winning a few games and being totally realistic we are going to have a battle on to consolidate but that doesn't mean we shoudnttry to get backup if possible. anyone with any ambition should always aim for the top

I’m more than happy to never see a live Premier League game ever again. I understand that. I'd be happy to win the Championship, take £150m and not bother actually getting promoted. We'd likely end up in a 'league' of about 12 clubs trying not to get relegated. The one thing that might be better, is that we might actually try to score some goals next time 🤞

If we do not have a dream, to attain something, apart from winning the FA Cup final what is the point?

If we do not have a dream, to attain something, apart from winning the FA Cup final what is the point? The point is football is more about the journey than the destination. If the focus was the destination then three quarters of all stadiums would be half empty from February onwards!

Good effort but lets be realistic. Another shite season and prices back up to £350 to £400 for the following year (has ST prices ever been mentioned post Dean Hoyle?) we would be back to 10k.
