Not going to get involved arguing with people but it's getting a bit grating having the same political talking points being done to death in so many threads. There's a politics board on here if you want to apply the tiresome 'liberal left wing pc gone mad snowflake' stuff to everything you don't like.

Poor polemic....would you go watch an U8 game if your lad was not playing? I've been beeped at traffic lights before for simply having to see how the corner kick turns out in the junior match at the side of me. If there was a televised match between blind Macedonian farmers and overweight paraplegic nuns, I'd be the one asking the barman to turn the commentary up on the telly. I'd watch every match of the Subbuteo world cup if that's all that was on offer. I'd watch anything football. would that include watching Leeds winning? |

Im trying to put this in a non sexist way, but is goalkeeping actually a physical thing? Women's chest areas are a lot more sensitive and pronounced than men's. Does this make diving and going into a melee for a cross harder? And are the coaching methods those passed on from the men's game or are they tailoring coaching to take into account these differences? This could be completely wrong bit it would help to explain the disparity in quality from outfield players to keepers

watching englands women footballers look pretty hopeless. If they're one of the faves to life the world cup then that's pretty shocking.

So some folk will turn their nose up at the womens World Cup because "womens football is shit"....Under 8s football is shit, but that wouldn't stop me going to watch my little lads' team play, even if he couldn't play for whatever reason.
