View AttachmentMust be backed by/heading up a consortium looking at the business accounts? I've been looking through these as well. Shareholders funds of £-5M doesn't look great. Unless he's won the euromillions recently not really sure how he's finding the £50-80M that dean is said to have wanted. Hope he isn't factoring parachute payments to fund a purchase. Anyway I've said my piece, I'll give Phil my backing of course. And thanks for the memories Dean, you are a credit to club you love.

I do know how much hes got ...and he not got a pot to piss in a accordion to Google. If you're not happy maybe you can launch an instant takeover ? Maybe not. According to Google he doesn't have a clue to shit in.

However much money Phil has or hasn't got, it's undeniably a great thing that the club remains 100% in the hands of fans of the club. Nobody dodgy looking to asset strip, no shadiness or ill repute, and no royal family from a gulf state with a series of human rights violations.

Doesn’t matter who’s in charge, once a town fan always a town fan! He and Dean and others will be in 'charge' of running the club to an amount of 'investment' from elsewhere.. suspect an investors man will be co opted... We are still in a good position to re enter the 'promised land' without running up debt the size of Mexico's.... Our present financial position being of 'great interest' around the world seems to infer that the Board has been accepted by an investor...clearly there will be a spread of financial 'risk', the amounts of which have already been decided and accepted.. It seems possible to sell without 'selling out' I like the idea that Deano is still involved and I’m sure things won’t change much in the foreseeable future. As long as we get a decent team on the pitch playing decent attacking football then that’s enough for me. Time to get shut of the big money let downs and create a decent team of good honest footballers.

Doesn’t matter who’s in charge, once a town fan always a town fan! Correct my friend. First and foremost, this is OUR club! Keith Longbottom was a Town fan too. Admittedly he probably had more money in real terms than pauper Phil.

Chairman and face of the club in its business dealings.. the money is from 'elsewhere'... surly if he had backers with him he would have said today . Lets see, perhaps.. maybe the sponsorship could give the game 'away' etc.. Any agreements could well be an amount 'invested' now and any other amounts agreed on the principle of where the club is next May.. Planning for success and failure now , financially speaking, seems like a right good idea.. Dont think we are in the game of spending like a man with no arms and hoping, even with the premier money and the parachute payments..

The truth is if you want to buy a Premier League team, you sort of have to buy one/invest in one before they get there??

Do people really think Dean Hoyle,, thats DEAN HOYLE FFS, would sell his club to someone who needs to use our parachute payments to buy it from him??
Get a fucking grip and show some respect to both men.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm drinking like there's no tomorrow. I know I'm going to bevwatching old clips and getting all reminiscent later on. I might also cry. It's also my birthday. I'm still good looking. I still love Kraftwerk.

I get what you’re saying but just using some of the people on here as an example, just because you’re a town fan doesn’t not make you a git 😉 (not you personally) 😉 As you can tell I’m not Phils biggest fan and some of the things I’ve been told from his tenure as sponsor don’t fill me with confidence but if he does it right he’ll get my backing.

Great fella who has put everything into getting our club success upon success.
The interview clearly shows he's gutted to be giving up control...it won't be easy for him at all...but his illness has taken its toll.
He will never have to buy a pint again.
That's a legacy to have. Legend. Hero. Top man.
Hope he's got his tissues for his own lap of honour after the game.

Just leave it for Deano to get the send off he deserves
