When he said ‘ We don’t badmouth our players in the media so we won’t have our players badmouthing the club in the media’. He was absolutely 100% referring to Zanka and Billing. Except maybe we do on youtube q+a's

So to sum up we’re fucking skint👍 Far from it, in so many ways Clever use of the economics. As he mentioned we have assets now. ... Oh and how come the players wages are covered each year and also when calculating the total cost of a player.

Not sure about the working class club moto. One is positively middle to upper, don't you know, and i'm not sure we need to be identifying with the riff raff.

Except maybe we do on youtube q+a's Tbf he didn’t bad mouth them, he stated what happened. A lot of fans have hammered Jan and gone OTT. The fact that his first week in charge he had 7 handsomely paid athletes knock on his office door wanting out because the going got tough needed saying. Otherwise it makes it harder for Jan to earn the respect of the supporters who have no idea that what Jans actually dealing with is 7 over paid quims. If they fancy, they can come to Halifax and work for me on my site and I’ll show them how to battle on no matter what for a fraction of what they earn.

Well said. Some footballers really are so detached from the real world it’s incredible.

Hamer he said was a good guy. Going to try and get him sharper.
Enjoyed it. PH comes across well.
Surely the miserable git with no point to make was Art. He ended being basically told to shut up and stop talking nonsense.

Hey I'm not knocking him, but he definitely was less than complementary about Sabiri, without giving details, he said he won't be here much longer and the sound cut out on my feed but Izzy's freekick said he stated similar re. Billing and Zanka. All these are reactions to the player's specific actions without doubt, but I'm sure Billing, Zanka and Sabiri could feel bad-mouthed and it would be hard to argue with them. This is not a criticism of him just an observation, (I often criticised DH for letting too info into the public domain via these q and a's) as I was thoroughly impressed with PH and he echoed a lot of my thoughts, hopes and expectations.

Whether you agree with or believe what he says, he does come across very well and is probably a more natural public speaker than Dean. Or better at bullshit. 😜😝

I don't think he has a very high opinion of Wagner going by some of his comments.

Wonder who the 'Magnificent seven' were? Billing, Zanka, Sabiri, Lossl? Who were the other 3 who seem to have redeemed themselves?

Not really, if he had said we wouldn’t be paying them anymore or reducing their salary without their consent then they would have breach of contract concerns but as long as they are paid then we will be fulfilling our side of it. He’s certainly open to snipe at the numpties talking nonsense or playing the keyboard warrior card “Sporting just cause”. An established professional who has, in the course of the season, appeared in fewer than ten per cent of the official matches in which his club has been involved may terminate his contract prematurely on the ground of sporting just cause. Due consideration shall be given to the player’s circumstances in the appraisal of such cases. The existence of sporting just cause shall be established on a case-by-case basis. In such a case, sporting sanctions shall not be imposed, though compensation may be payable. A professional may only terminate his contract on this basis in the 15 days following the last official match of the season of the club with which he is registered.” So if “made to rot” they could walk away at the end of this season, Additionally there are other break clauses, they couldn’t for example be made to train alone all season without risk of contract being broken, they have to be allowed to “be professional footballers”...so would have to train with the development squad or similar. Nearer the transfer deadline day Town will accept the highest bids received so far even though they may not be what the club actually wanted - off the books is the only option

The psychiatrist made a very good point. Of the field matters were the root of our downfall, not on. The players have the ability to get us straight up again if we get the mentality around the club right.

The most ridiculous part of the night was the third question
Chairman's first Q & A, a chance to ask real hard hitting questions about our finances, transfers, stadium ownership, nobhead players etc. And some numpty asks about Huddersfield ladies and if they can play at Canalside

(Sorry, I couldn’t listen. Cheers).
