Hamer he said was a good guy. Going to try and get him sharper. Enjoyed it. PH comes across well. Surely the miserable git with no point to make was Art. He ended being basically told to shut up and stop talking nonsense. Did he go on to explain how we intend to get Hamer sharper by forcing him to train with the kids/on his own, without the goalkeeping coaches, and by signing another GK? 🤔

Smith and Mounie didn't/don't get on with Siewert i'd add them to sabiri, zanka, billing and puncheon for dead certs! Was this said / intimated by PH tonight?

He was actually supportive.

I don't think actually he named the players, although the sound was/is that crap he may have done. He referred to those left at Canalside and not in Austria. Presumably Mbenza as just being signed, wasn't one he was referring to and I'm assuming Mounié also isn't included either. But Zanka, Billing and Hamer were undoubtedly those he was referring to who won't play for us again.. He didn't actually say who the disruptive ones were but we all assume Zanka & Billing are among them. He intimated that Sabiri has none football related issues and expects him to be gone soon. Hamer isn't one of those he's referring to but having hardly played for 6 years he's struggled with his form, so they're looking to loan him out.

Good to hear we’re not dumping him and trying to support him nonetheless. And good that we’ve recognised he’s not what we need right now.

Well said. Some footballers really are so detached from the real world it’s incredible. probably the same 7 that made Wagner want to leave...a clique...the same 7 who didn't give a sh*t last season....people don't just suddenly show their true colours - defo something wrong at the club, DW must have known..

Did anyone ask phil if we were getting new players other than this Liverpool goalkeeper He made it fairly clear we're now at the stage of someone leaving before someone comes in to replace them. Surely we must be getting another left back in regardless of outgoings?? Fair enough on other positions, much as there are several players still in the squad that most of us would want shut of.

What will you do differently if we get back to the Premier League?
"We won't be signing 4 wingers and then playing a formation without wingers"
Ouch

So far, the 7 are (edit) 10 mentioned by those on here. Just goes to show that we actually know fuck-all. I’ll take the first two as granted, beyond that... 1. Zanka 2. Billing 3. Flo 4. LDP 5. Lossl 6. Smith 7. Mounié 8. Sabiri 9. Puncheon 10. Diakhaby

FWIW - his hands are tied with comments but said Billing and Zanka will never play again for the club He said that? Wow He said that the team spirit was back and that all the players who went to Austria were part of the team. Those that didn’t and weren’t with the team will never play again; the inference was made and we all understood who he meant but he never mentioned them by name.

Feels he’s been hard done by due to being rusty having basically not played in six years, we’re going to try and get him out on loan for at least half a season, as they (our keeping coach and Phil etc) think there’s possibly a very decent keeper under there, he just needs “oiling”. And that probably explains why we’ve loaned a keeper in rather than tried to sign another one to add to the squad and then be stuck trying to get rid of one or two of them next summer.

Mentioned that he'd sold £2m worth of shares in Southport for £100 to enable him to buy Huddersfield.
Contrary to certain people's beliefs he clearly has a "pot to piss in".

Should we count Mbenza and Mounié in that do you think? Edit: sorry, just seen the post above. No worries.

Hi I've just got back. Just explain what you were wanting clarified and I'll do my best? Regarding Zanka and billing So his did not name any players negatively although the meaning of some comments left no doubt as to who he was referring to. He said (in response to a couple of similar questions) that the squad was complete for the beginning of the season with the expection of one place. Then 5mins later the new keeper was announced completing the squad. The squad is 1 player for every position, 1 player developing or pushing for the starting place and a 3rd younger player developing under that. A question was then asked (which I think your asking me to clarify) about about the player who had not been on the training trip. This was clear to everyone it was about Zanka, Billing and Hamer. Phil replied with abosulute certainly that players left behind would not be part of the 1st team at all. The questioning followed up with, to paraphrase 'what about training and things' Phil replied 'strongly' players that Jan does not want/see in the first team squad will have no involvement at all with the first team squad. I personally interpreted that as meaning Zanka and Billing are either going to be sold/loaned or training with the U17s until they leave. Ben Hamer he was very complimentary about but said he had not played games for 6 years so was still rusty when he came in. That he was a top lad and person. To get him up to speed, rid of the rust they want to get him out on loan til January and playing regular games. They will then make a decision in January after accessing him then. Phil was also very strong on Sabiri. Again not saying a bad word but saying very, very clearly he expects Sabiri NOT to be at the club by the end of the transfer window. I took from it something quite serious has happened with Sabiri. I hope that answers your question. Also to the poster asking if I was the phycologist asking a question. I was not. I just listened quietly for the 2hrs.

Wonder who the 'Magnificent seven' were? Billing, Zanka, Sabiri, Lossl? Who were the other 3 who seem to have redeemed themselves? Who says they have redeemed themselves? Think; Depoitre, Durm, Williams, Puncheon all let go.... Flo might have redeemed himself? Think you could be right, Depoitre & Williams never used, (Williams supposedly not fit) Puncheon not a happy chappy, Durm maybe that;s why he didn't go to Schalke. we maybe wrong with Flo & Lossl
