Google translation...
You didn't really know, because he was a very special guy, I'd probably say, says Billing to bold.dk and continues the description of Siewert:
- He's special. Real German mentality, a little strange. He came in as if he had won the Premier League five times, a little arrogant, and I think most people lost respect for him after a week's time. People could see there was something wrong. He 'tried too hard' -like.
The defeats quickly became part of Siewert's everyday life in Huddersfield, and he should have taken more responsibility for that, the Danish U21 national team player believes.
- He came out after the games and blamed the players for losing matches. Which of course is, but normal coaches would come out and try to protect their own players.
- He did not really do that, and he continued to do so for a small period, so that one could sense that everyone did not really support him.
he will not call himself an ex-Huddersfield player.
- I've talked to the club and we reasonably agree that it is. I'm still Huddersfield player, so I can't stand and say I'm done - I've done that once, and it didn't go well afterwards, says Billing to bold.dk.
Billing says his agents are in contact with interested clubs, but will not suggest anything about the future.
- You never know what's going to happen. It can go so fast and a bid can come in tomorrow, he says and continues.
- I don't get into it, but I know my agents have been talking to other clubs. I let them control so I can concentrate on the training.

These sound like ideal qualities for a professional football manager?

Billings doing this for an effect. It ms quite clear he’s wanted to leave since January because he was performing well he didn’t get his move so threw his teddy out the pram. Everyone can see siewert isn’t going to stand for a lot and this is why billing is bad mouthing him. Also the euro u21 tournament is around the corner so by coming out and saying all this puts him in the shop window very crafty if you ask me. End of the day the money we gain from billing should help siewert our hugely so personally can’t wait to see the back of him

Get as much as we can for him then sit back and enjoy his steady slide down the leagues. Lad thinks he’s Paul Pogba, only similarity is their attitudes.

Whilst not seeking to defend Billing's attitude, the body language of several players was telling in Siewert's early days Even the dependable Mooy looked like he couldn't give a fuck in some games, most notably the Newcastle away game. Schindler was quoted as saying "all he does is shout at us".
Maybe Siewert's approach shocked a few people and some handled it better than others. Let's hope that both sides have learned a few things and that team spirit that was missing will return at the start of the new season.

maybe the players needed a rocket up their arses. Let's face it they hardly looked to give a fook when struggling under Wagner.

What I find astonishing is the arrogance of a lad who has considerable talent but who hadn't played 15 good games in his entire career yet. Flashes - yes, but when do we see the so called real deal. The lad who puts a run of 7 or 8 games together where he's a 7/8 out of 10. That's the difference for me when comparisons are made with the likes of schindler, mooy who have done that. Clearly wants away - get the best fee possible and move on. Thanks for not much Phil really - shame, but that's the game now.

I can't believe billing is talking about his current manager like that but if those comments are genuine (surely not) I'm afraid it confirms what some of us feared about Jans management style and the real reason morale seemed to go through the floor when he arrived. The fact billing got the players vote is even more worrying for obvious reasons. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

From other rumours I don't think he's the first to complain about the manager it's just billing has gone public.

The interview raises some interesting points. Respect lost for him within a week because he shouted so much. When put in contrast to Wagner's overly forgiving behaviour towards bad/gutless performances, I can see why it was a shock to them all. The important bit of information that's missing is whether Siewert earned respect back towards the end of the season. I suspect he may have from a few players.

The problem is he's not the first to come and say it.
Whilst others think they are too good there's a common theme of players who aren't good enough still seeking moves, Zanka, Flo, Diakhaby etc...
Whilst i'm not defending Siewert or Billing the players definitely did need a rocket up their arse it appears the rocket might be getting shoved a bit too much and has created a rather unhappy camp.
Schindler was quoted as saying "all he does is shout" and you can visually see his paddies on the sideline when things are not going well.
Summer we will see what happens but if the dressing room is disbanded as its rumoured to be, we really could see a new 11 next season.

Do you really think they needed a rocket up their arse and didn't give a fuck under Wagner, really? I don't, I think since Jan has come in most of them started playing like they didn't give a fuck and needed a rocket up their arse but not before, most of them anyway. These sound like ideal qualities for a professional football manager. What has Billing won? Just asking like, as he's calling out the manager. Promotion from The Championship. And survived a year in the Premier League. Which is more than Jan Siewert. Billing has been a disgrace since January but this interview only reflects what a number of posters on here have said since March, with Siewert appearing arrogant and blaming players for defeats.

If the statement is true and accurate then what a disgrace from a Town player. He’s having a go at the manager who blamed the players and tried too hard. Unbelievable.

I was at a do a couple of weeks ago and a random lad told me the exact same story All players hate JS as he’s very arrogant and many are telling their agents to get them a move There's definitely some truth in this............but, ultimately are there ANY players who absolutely could say I am a good prem league player and on my last year or two in some cases deserve better than relegation. Mooy - probably, schindler - possibly but very few if any others. Jury's out on seiwert but he was trying to change a failing operation at the end of the day and that's always going to create friction. Time to remove those who don't want to be here (subject to fees meeting club requirements - and if not they need decisively telling they are going nowhere) and let's all move on. It's amazing how much the last 2 or 3 wks with no games re-energise you!

Actually some people do need mollycoddling and there is nothing wrong with that. Identifying how to handle different players is an essential part of JS's job. Saying that, Billing has crossed a line and needs moving on sharpish.
