Great send off for Scoffa today but looking at some comments on the examiner website some people have no respect at all.

Great send off for Scoffa today but looking at some comments on the examiner website some people have no respect at all. Typical of the lowlifes that post on the Examiner site. You find them posting their drivel under most stories. Huddersfield has more than its fair share of utter dickheads.

Great send off for Scoffa today but looking at some comments on the examiner website some people have no respect at all. Not seen the comments pal but some folk lack class, remember that. He was a legend to those privileged to have met/known him, three coaches full is testament to that UTT

Great send off for Scoffa today but looking at some comments on the examiner website some people have no respect at all. Lost for words really. Absolutely amazed at the selfishness. Remember the first funeral I went to, the hearse drove by a building site and while nobody on the site would have known us, the workmen all downed tools and stopped to watch the hearse drive past. This meant an awful lot to us as a family. Bit of respect and acting proper. I hope Scoffa had the send off that he deserves, he was as charming and charismatic as they come and I'm pleased to have known him. Just been on his facebook page and seen the group playing 'Those were the days' with the folks joining in, what a fantastic tribute, sorry that i missed it yesterday.

Great send off for Scoffa today but looking at some comments on the examiner website some people have no respect at all. I'm surprised the Examiner even printed some of those comments to be fair. It just goes to show what a low life run local rag we have.. W Anker, says it all really.

I hope this thread isnโt going to descend to the levels the Examiner already is at. Give Scoffa respect. If posters canโt do that then the admins should tidy it up and lock it.

When this is playing on the way into the church service, you know it's going to be an emotional day.
While I'm worth, my room on this earth, I will be with you.
That sums Scoffa up in so many ways.

Must admit every time a funeral cortege passes me I always stop and stand still till it has passed. If i'm wearing a hat it comes off.

As much as he can be a complete #### Iโd hazard a guess thatโs someone pretending to be him. Very poor form and whoever it is should be ashamed to have sunk that low.

Unfortunately i could not make the funeral due to a prior commitment. This led me to being in the absolute middle of nowhere in a Swedish forest. My thoughts turned to Dave and his family and friends....one drink turned to several and it culminated in me falling down a full flights of stairs. I almost joined the big fella...i am totally back and blue. He would have laughed the loudest. R.I.P Scoffa.....guys like you don't come round that often.

Get well soon, ya daft old bugger Bit of a daft place to build a flight of stairs in the middle of a forest. En gammal gard. An old Swedish farmhouse with steep steps. Nearest neighbour a mile away.
