Just walked past that shop in South Harrogate airport and absolutely no Leeds fans were buying the new shirt, released last night, to take on their Holidays.
Does anybody know when the town retail store is opening at Huddersfield international airport?

Does anybody know when the town retail store is opening at Huddersfield international airport? Is there a Bradford club shop in LBA ? Or do they just sell the shirts from the back of a transit van in the car park ? 😂

Also look at the other pics, pic of Coleman in the new keeper kit without a sponsor. They could have done that for the actual shirts

It used to be sufficient to introduce the kit in a photo on the back of the Examiner. They always used to play the friendlies in the previous season's kit or an unbranded striped one. Alas those days are gone and now there seems to have to be an introductory theme ....

I'd love to know why:
A) Our last two kits have been so "cheap" and nasty, despite being a Premier League club. B) Why it takes so fucking long for them to be released.
I play cricket and our current club shirt is made by a firm that no one will have heard of, Zwingo. It's got an embroidered badge, the sponsorship logo is part of the shirt (rather than stuck on) and has woven sleeve sponsors. I paid my club £15 for it.
Compare that to the Town replicas of the last few years, with shoddy materials, crappy rubberised badges that fall off when washed and wonky stuck on sponsorship logos, it's ridiculous, especially at the ludicrous price the club sold them at.

My 9 year old son's cricket shirt's Zwingo too and it's great - badge, sponsors etc all part of the shirt. He got it included in his annual subs so negligible cost. It's embarrassing that professional football clubs sell such crap quality and rip off fans in the process; whilst Town are about the worst for quality the biggest PL clubs aren't a whole lot better (and charge even more).

Overpriced tat.. been the problem with the merchandising for a long time and never more so than last seasons shirt. We had better quality when we were in the lower divisions

Remember Dean Hoyle before last seasons kit launch trumpeting the deal on the basis of the Kit material been of "excellent quality material with a lovely feel to it".
Stick to the cheap cards Dean.

Embroidered on the piss too by the looks of it Maybe so, but still. SMJ keeps having a breakdown on social media at folk having a go, and I understand he’s been doing other folks jobs too, but from 2 years in the Prem to not having a kit to sell or play in is pretty piss poor. Very piss poor even.

The price probably comes down to the contract that Umbro have with us. They pay us (i believe) to supply us with the kit, and therefore they would expect to make some money back through selling this in our shop. We would also want to make money on selling the shirt, hence i guess why it gets up to £50. Your cricket club won't be being paid by Zwingo, they will just purchase the kit from them as a bulk order. Similarly any sunday league football club can purchase a kit through Umbro at probably £10-£15 a shirt with the quality probably similar to what our replica shirts are. The cost to make our shirt is probably very minimal. I seem to recall last year Leicester had an away kit that you could buy on the adidas shop for a lot less (minus the LCFC logo and shirt sponsor of course). I don't think the shirts themselves over the past 2 years have been bad quality (imo), it is more the sponsor/terrier badge and how they have been applied that is the issue. The problem we have now is that because we are so late in getting a sponsor, the sponsor logo is obviously just going to be stuck on again this season, as per the OPE one in the 1st PL season. I agree we should be going down the route of getting the sponsor logo implemented as part of the kit. Rugby League teams have done this for a while. I have a Wigan RL shirt from 2016 and there are 6 sponsor logos and the SL logo all part of the material (and the badge is sown on). So much better quality and will last for years and years.

Very piss poor even. Sean is usually very good at what he does but even last week he said the sponsor wasn't 100% confirmed. The kit is supposed to be on sale this time next week so it's gonna be a mad rush to get it all sorted. It is very poor for a club that has been dining at the top table for the past 2 years.

Made with Pride by local workers in local companies, Who did we have ? Superleague ? Bukta, and Mitre.
Not by numbers paid pittance in Asian sweat shops, One floor above the sweat shop making similar quality copies.

We miss a trick here every year it seems,, My mates 9 year old twins have saved their birthday money to buy the new Town kits to take on their jollys to Spain, They are away as soon as the 6 week holidays start, Their mother was saying only last weekend that they had dragged her into the Town shop twice recently while at the cinema to get the New kit, Alas, Indeed their mother told the lads to ask me when it would be out, I have no idea,,, The lads ( money burning in their pocket ) said " it was rubbish, Everybody has new kits now,, Dad says we are going to the Barcelona stadium so we can get a Messi one instead "

I bought last seasons kit a few weeks ago in the sale and it already looks 10 year old after a few washes.
I'd be mighty p*ssed if I'd paid full price for it.
