I think it’s basically taking the piss out of us. You like it? Chill out man. It’s the way they do things. They laugh at themselves and laugh at others. PP are a massive company and as far as marketing, we’ll get loads of exposure. Granted some will take the piss a bit but so what. Enjoy it. I’m chilled! I didn’t even put caps lock on Just can’t imagine any other championship club allowing a video like that. |

High profile gambling firm with a strong media presence. It's a great backer for the club to have. Hopefully it works well for our exposure, they do all kinds of ads and social media stuff. Least it ain't 32red who seem to pop up everywhere. Exactly and the other side is that they have a really novel approach to marketing and advertising. Often putting on events or doing one-off things for attention. I think we will see some surprising link ups. It's their first sponsorship and their only one so we will have their full attention. Think it will be fun! |

Brilliant. We’re Town and we’re different and bollocks to all the ‘me too’ PR that the wannabe big clubs put out. Proud to be Town, proud to be Yorkshire and proud we’ve got enough heart and self belief to gently take the mick (no pun intended) out of ourselves. Love this partnership already.

there are clubs, many, who are in a very poor state financially and would swap our fucking horrible Premiership season for their last one in a heartbeat. Last season was 'laugh or you would cry' for the vast majority of it, prefer to laugh and prefer us to be big enough to do so.. Leeds united would have taken our last 2 seasons over theirs, definitely. We got there and failed, they just failed.(again)  |

The exposure from this sponsorship is excellent. I couldn’t help but notice our preseason opponent Hamburger SV had a long-standing sponsor in Emirates, since 2006 from their Bundesliga days, which I thought was impressive for a team in the Bundesliga 2. I was hoping for us to have a globally recognised sponsor now that OPE has moved on. Here we have it in Paddy Power. It’ll take a few to self adjust, as they aren’t your average company, but as many are pointing out, they are an innovator in this space that will bring great exposure for both parties going forward. For those who are finding offence already, I suggest you try find the lighter side in Paddy Power’s tweets. You might find yourself laughing rather than outraged. |

Great sponsor, big brand, (I was expecting Easy Fireplace or Ma Baker's Sandwich Shop). Brilliant adverts & videos on a daily basis.
I for one love the odd bet on sport, if you're thick enough to gamble away more than you can afford then I'm afraid that's just natural selection.
