I think we all knew the shirt sponsor would be a betting firm but a green Paddy power logo? 🤢🤮

It is what it is and we needed a sponsor. I'm not big on gambling companies sponsoring us, OPE was ok as not many in UK or elsewhere had a clue with exception of China.

I wonder how much the deal is worth? I really liked another poster's suggestion of giving the sponsorship free to a local charity but I suppose if it helps to secure the club's future I shouldn't grumble.

I can't remember any of the last five sponsors or more that actually did something for the club (other than pay cash for their logo to be displayed of course). I know this is the same with most clubs/sponsors, but if you're prepared to invest in a team, I think the least you can do is interact with them via your online media - I mean, it takes of all thirty seconds to post tweet that took 5 mins to compose, check and sign-off. We highlight their profile and in turn they highlight our profile which then boost theirs (again)...or something like that. |
