Good squad signing but if Kongolo and Schindler both go and he's first choice it'll be slightly worrying. It's a bit underwhelming, no one really wants a 30 plus centre back at this level...only Town apparently. I hope the rest of the signings are a bit more exciting than this fella.

Good signing although slightly worried about his recent injury record, hope he’s here to compliment Schindler and Kongolo but fear he’ll replace one of them. Maybe free but a quality player who we’d likely not have had a chance with a few seasons ago.

Wasn’t a bad player a couple of years ago,what worries me is that Siewert will have never heard of him?
Although he’d have never of Grant of either and he’s turned out alright.So it’s DH PH and josh marsh making the signings and Siewart has to make it work.

If Elphick has been signed as Centre Half squad cover, I’d say it’s a good signing.
If he’s been signed as a first choice, I’d say that this is a worrying sign that we are preparing to assemble a low budget team, given his age and the fact he wasn’t a regular at Villa.
Impossible to have a certain view until we see who is staying and who is leaving.

They’ve the clout and are a club who will be able to attract high profile players, a lot more than your average newly promoted team. Coupled with a manager who has the team at heart, I’d so much as say 2 will stay up and I think the other will be Sheff United |
