I'm planning a protest on the tenth minute me and my mate are going to turn our back on the game, hold hands, and chant "Paddy power Paddy power, out out out". Who's in?

This is our 'Accrington Stanley, Who are they?' Moment. I find it quite funny and as has been said, I see it more a satirical take on modern football and obsession with the money generating marketing businesses at the top of the premiership.

High profile, miles better than OPEless, just a shame we will have got £1 mill and not the £5 mill it's surely worth in these mad times. So, what is Huddersfield famous for? More listed buildings outside London than anywhere except Oxford and Bath. The worlds finest, and i mean finest, fine worsteds. The world all wore Huddersfield cloth. Inventing modern tactical football, forming rugby league. James Mason, the worlds leading man in the years 45-47. Fish and chips, more great chippies than ANYWHERE. The water quality. Jake Mangelwurzel. Dean Hoyle. Derek Ibbotson. Wilf Lunn. Ernest Sykes VC...the list is endless. Add more guys and gals. The current Poet Laureate, the current Doctor Who, the DB in Aston Martin cars, the birthplace of one Prime Minister and the place another (Asquith) was schooled, the first yorkshire terrier, DJ Q is a hugely important figure in garage music, I could go on... You were doing Ok until DJ Q?

Absolute disgrace of a sponsor Terry the terrier should hang his head in shame. Sheer disrespect from Paddy power, how dare they suggest Huddersfield isn't famous for anything? Erm..hello.. Never heard of DJ smile? Tinpot. #boycottpaddypowerandphilhodgkinson. We should use DJ Smile to launch the new shirt. "Paddy is vile...f*ck the tile"

You were doing Ok until DJ Q? Different strokes and all that. Wasn't expecting any garage fans on here to be honest but he's very influential in its development as a genre. More appreciated in London than up north.

The reason I didn’t think Paddy Power would sponsor us was I didn’t believe we’d be high profile enough for them so in my mind getting them on board is a great achievement for the club. Well done to the people who got them on board. People who don’t agree with gambling have a right to their opinion but the links to football are obvious and widespread. Another positive is laughing at grown men losing their shit about how it’ll look on the shirt. If that’s the only thing in life that’s a concern to you then you’ve got to give your head a large shake.

You were doing Ok until DJ Q? Reading on, it seems he builds garages. So if you ever need a quote Oti, Q seems to be your man. It would appear he also does the tunes at weddings, engagements, bah mitzvahs and children's parties 😉 (I'd never heard of him either)

I would love to Terry the Terrier replaced with Wookiee ripping limbs off opponents when we lose Don't worry Diakhaby & Mbenza will tear our opponents a new arsehole this season.

The point is it reaches a much larger audience, therefore earning the club you love more money to carry on existing. Still shit Get a grip

Holy Christ, some people try far too hard to find moral arguments. For those worried about addiction, there’ll be lots of support from mental health providers going forward, job done, let’s celebrate getting a major sponsor on board for our first year back in the Champs.

Hahahaha, that's the best joke on DATM this year! Which 'mental health providers' are these? I agree though, time to crack on and look forward to the season starting again soon.

High profile and ambitious commercial partner, seems like good business to me. Video is what you expect from the PP brand, I don’t think anyone takes their marketing stuff like this seriously. Well done to the team that landed it.
Don’t know what the difference between an Irish and a Chinese bookies is in moral terms, but I know who I prefer town to be partnered with.

The modern world encapsulated in one very short video clip. It's bollocks really; I don't find it funny and I don't find it offensive. It is just another perfect example of why life is getting more shitty by the day. PP don't give two shiney fucks about us. We are a cheap marketing gimmick. All this jokey, matey, laddy crap doesn't wash with me either. I'd rather we had a blank shirt rather than lower our morals and deal with these leeches. You are a blast, can I come and live with you and that vaesen bloke? I need some misery in my wonderful and funny life.....

Jesus we agreed to that , we have become the championships prostitute , you can do what you want to us as long as you pay us. I know humour , I’m also aware of the concept of self deprecation but that’s too much.
