A bit fucking rich coming that shower! So where was all the publicity before this stunt about us being a community club! I never saw or heard any mass media coverage of our brilliant chairman doing great things! The hypocrisy

National embarrassment - Get a fooking grip man! Do you see any national media? I had a newcastle fan ring me up to take the piss today.. a fucking newcastle fan the day after they appoint Bruce and lose 4-0 to wolves!! You don;t think we are being laughed at all over the country?? Newcastle found a great day to bury bad news.

IF the new shirt ends up having a charity/good cause on the front, this is up there as one of the greatest sporting pranks since Karl Power.

It's not a tiny bit like that. It is. The video was somat or nowt. A bit of a pisstake..'bants'.. PP laughing at themselves as much as us. Pretty funny really. It was there, then it wasn;t. It certainly wasn;t this long drawn out, divisive national embarrassment was it? “It certainly wasn;t this long drawn out, divisive national embarrassment was it?” Or Nick, as he prefers to be called.

Oh, I can see how professionally offended snowflakes find offence - both here & elsewhere! "Sell our dignity"? It's a shirt worn in a pre-season friendly ffs. It's not selling our past, it's not disregarding our history. We're still the same club, playing in the same colours in the same town & still rooted in the local community. I'd say that it's entirely in keeping with how the club has been run since things took an upturn with the appointment of Wagner. We're a bit different. It's a good thing. Snowflake? If i pretend this is just a shirt worn in a friendly will i toughen up? What else is it, other than just a shirt worn in a friendly? (BTW - the real shirt has been unveiled now. I like it) www.htafc.com/news/2019/july/towns-real-home-kit-is-revealed/?fbclid=IwAR13n3tJPXkWp1UUMkEI8JaYEiFHfdzvSB0OEirnOc3pT-lFwMnVpv33oaI

From what I've heard, the actual shirt has no traditional logo on it at all. Oh look at this. It was what I heard.

So basically they couldn’t get a sponsorship deal/sort one in time and so have treat us all like mugs and turned their poor planning and usual lateness in sorting the shirts round on us the fans, with a last minute deal with PaddyPower for this stunt! Shirts without sponsors look shit, look like the club couldn’t find a sponsor and let’s not lose sight of that’s exactly what has happened here - they have just created a smokescreen and noble cause to cloud it!

Brilliant tweet from Paddy Power. Hilarious and genius in equal measures. And the dig at Bielsa puts the icing on the cake

I am glad it's been resolved (nice shirt but if no sponsor why not have Town foundation on there?) but I still think in our current position it probably wasn't the best idea we've had.
Hopefully we can quickly move onto more pressing matters.....winning games of football.

I am in my elliment with all this joke, takes you away from the norm of football side of things, fed up of H.T.F.C being squeaky clean and honest. Are the town players in on the joke, I wonder, everything involved in football is money orientated, so ive no doubt the club will be making money out of this stunt, and having a laugh at the same time. Cannot wait for further stunts. Bee geesus paddy started a joke. It will have been discussed on the Austria trip. The team spirit seemed as good as it's been. I may be wrong but seems like the players are all in - see Mooy's Instagram. Even better then, great morale for staff and players, takes the spotlight off them for a while. Until the next spoof raiser more aquasition.

So you would ha e preferred the shirt they released on Wednesday as it had a shirt sponsor... got it. Also many great teams have refused shirts sponsors in the past, Barcelona the only one I can think of, when they did allow it it was for UNICEF

I'm glad the joke has finally come to it's conclusion. For me they dragged it out a little long and it's taken the edge off it a little.
However, I love the fact that we are going without sponsor logo's

You've posted that a few times now. I can't decide whether you genuinely believe that & are desperate to make a point that's obviously nonsense, or if you are just telling that joke over & over again because you really like it.

Brilliant Town / Paddy Power
Shirt looks fantastic
Glad it’s sorted this side of the weekend - thought it had gone on too long
A few on here need to go to the sense of humour shop - and feel a bit daft of the stick given to Sean Jarvis who for over a decade has done a brilliant job in his Commercial role
