It's going to be a long weekend before we plunge abit into the unknown. Almost like the Wagner revolution but we are planting the seed on monday and hoping it will grow.
I think we have the quality to destroy derby and send a message to the championship live on sky. We haven't really played anything like a full strength 11 in pre-season.
Big shout... but I'm saying 3-0 and off we go. Grant x2 and a Bacuna rocket.

Could this be renamed to Pre Match Thread?
Then an official match thread started an hour before kick off, when the line ups are released.
Just threads have a habit of wandering off into obscure topics when given too much time.

In May, that would have happened, but now we appear to have stopped losing and we're scoring goals. Still take a 1-0 win with an OG deflected off Keogh's arse though 😁. |

...on Q if you go to Sport and Live in the guide, then Mondsys game is available in 4k (assuming you have 4k and Q).
This is new, last season only the EPL games were 4k

Had a tenner on at just over 14-1 on Town winning 2-1 and Grant to score anytime.
Seriously can’t wait for this match, will be my first in over a year. Last 5 I’ve attended we're unbeaten so here’s hoping that run continues!

All for optimism but I think pre-season has gone to some people’s heads. I like the way things are going but pre-season doesn’t always correlate & we’ve certainly not hammered teams.
I’d take a scrappy win all day. For me, it’s about getting a good start, and getting that mentality of winning back.

All for optimism but I think pre-season has gone to some people’s heads. I like the way things are going but pre-season doesn’t always correlate & we’ve certainly not hammered teams. I’d take a scrappy win all day. For me, it’s about getting a good start, and getting that mentality of winning back. It will be tough as Derby are, and have been for a long time, a good team. The big thing for me is how we play. I am hoping the tippy-tappy at the back will be reduced and we will look more dangerous going forward. Aggressive attacking play puts the opposition on the back foot and we haven't seen that for a while. Still hoping for a win but not expecting us to look like world beaters. |

Grant stated in an interview with RL that Kamil Grabara was saving everything in practice. Apart from his penalties - so yes - I guess Grant will be our penalty taker. Until he misses one - I guess. |

Hopefully Cocu has the same impact on Derby as DeBoer did on Palace when we played them on the first day a couple of years ago.
Certainly more confident playing them now than if they had the team last season.

How on earth you can play Diakarby (who offers very little) and not have VLP in the team or on the bench is beyond me - having said this we should just about have enough to beat a Derby team that Adrian Durham thinks will get relegated.

Fair enough if it’s not working replace him later in the game but I’m convinced he can be a major player for us this season. |
