Didn't turn up for the first 25 minutes and it took the crowd almost turning on the players for them to switch on.
Mooy was shite. Schindler was shite. Elphick was shite. Grant was good, and Jan took him off for Colin fucking Quaner with 5 minutes to go. Shite.
Shite.

Shit service but he can't play that lone striker role if we're going to hit it long to him. It'll work away from home when it's more open

Some decent touches and passes. Wasn't helped by Kongolo playing like a spanner

Wasn't helped by Kongolo playing like a spanner Except when he got there he was clueless with the ball. If our masterplan is to smash long balls to Grant and long diagonals to Pritchard we're in trouble.

Not horrific but not good. Town lacked a spark and looked somehow lethargic at times. Mooy especially. There's plenty of quality there, but Derby defended well second half. Early doors.

Far too nervy in first half, poor passes, bad first touches and didn’t seem we’d done enough homework on Derby. Game was lost in that first half, 2nd better but a tad toothless with finishing and fatigue kicking in too much at the end. I really want us to get a win or I fear confidence will really suffer.

Diakhaby is fasts. But he can’t play football. The same as a Mbenza is also fast he also cannot play football.

Can we not say it was terrible because Greenfell was terrible? Or not say it was awful because Harold Shipman was awful?

Elphick and Bacuna were terrible, in particular for the first 30. Hogg bloody useless and Kongola not much better either (he is not an attacking full back,). Grant was not good either! Thought Schindler was ok and Mooy not great but not worth calling out.

It’s one game ffs so stop moaning and throwing toys out of the pram. That one game is all I'm talking about. Believe me, I'm not interested in looking any further into the future than that. But that was an absolute shite bonfire. Inexcusable first 25 minutes and then poor management of the situation to try and get back into it. Hugely disappointed. 3/10 all around. A thoroughly deserved loss.

His brain isn’t quick enough or knowledgeable enough for his feet. Mbenza a luxury float around player who also looks a few years away from really understanding the game. Whoever scouted these guys wants absolutely shooting.

Literally nowhere have I said anything about anything other that the performance in this one game.
Those on about knee jerk reactions and the rest of the season. You're the ones bringing it up.
This game, we were shite. In a big way. In a totally avoidable, wouldn't matter if we were premier League or league 2 kind of way.
We bottled our first game and gifted a team we arseholed in the second half a 2 goal lead after 25 minutes. We then chased the game for over an hour and our talent showed, but we still looked toothless and had barely any goal threat.
Pathetic, abject shite that should be acknowledged. Those subs at the end were utter spaff.

The subs were odd The statements after the game stating we should of got something.
I have not seen any improvements at all since he has taken charge.
Judging by his interview after the game he does come across very arrogant with the reporter

Have to say absolutely nothing has changed. What on earth have they been doing pre season? I actually thought we looked worse than last season the main difference being the opposition. Imagine if that was Liverpool or City we were playing tonight. They kept on giving us the ball yet we did fuck all with it. We look clueless.

That was my assessment too, we either don't have the players to play Siewert's system or Siewert's system doesn't fit the players we have.

It was men against boys for the first half. The second was more even once he put Mooy in a deeper role with Bacuna further up the field. Thought Mbenza did well once he came on and based on that I wished he had come on earlier to ballance the team by letting Pritchard play in a more central position. Derby were good and unsettled is, let's hope Jan learns from this.

Yep should have squared it but it was the first attack of the game so you can forgive it in a way. No other player at this club would have been got in to that position, the pace he showed was something else. He did again later in the first half to burst away from 3 midfielders and laid it off to Pritchard. He slowed it down, dribbled in to trouble and lost it. There never seems to be any fluency to our attacking, once we make a pass the play we receiving it stands still and waits to be closed down

If we're relying on Quaner to come on and make a difference then we have major problems.
