To make a managerial change? We’ve an unbalanced squad but they’re not playing for Jan.
The fitness is lacking.
We lack urgency and purpose.
We have no real pattern of play save putting in Hadergonaj to cross to no one.
We’ve still got the makings of a decent squad at this level but the team desperately needs some inspiration, energy and ideas. In a word they need leadership.
Law is often referred to as a cut throat business which our chairman knows all about. He needs to be cut throat now in his football business and make the change before the rot sets in for another season.
This is no knee jerk reaction. We fans aren’t blind. It’s clearly exactly the same problems.
Get a new guy in now and make a couple of quick signings or clever loans. Derby were no great shakes but we gifted them a goal as we’ve done so often under Jan. Again it’s the players fault but it’s happened too often under Jan’s tenure.
The time to act is now.

Ok that’s a fair amount for most new managers. Let’s assume he’s just started. why 10 games? What will happen in that time that’ll make you think it’s better to stay with Jan. How many points out of the 30? Or is it more about how we play

Should have gone after Southampton. Shouldn't of got the job in the first place. Cheap kop out by the club. Jokanovic was available at the time and proven

Jokanovic was available at the time and proven Given that we were ok defensively Jocanovic seemed like to be perfect fit. I can understand the notion of sticking with Borussia B receuitment but this guy wasn’t even no.2 was he. You’ve got to be able to lead the players and have their respect these days. That’s why so many recently retired players are employed. The players respect them.

You guys got a coach in with little or no experience, is it the coaches fault looking for a pay rise??
When the chips are down let's sell the club and take the money with it?

Should have gone at the end of last season.
(Probably shouldn't have been appointed in the first place though)

Lets see where we are after 4 or 5 games.
The club will already have a replacement lined up should it not work out.

Seriously, I’ve always been pro giving manager time but he’s had time. He may not have had money to spend but we’ve a decent squad albeit uneven. There’s been no performance that’s made me understand how he wants the team to play.
Sometimes it’s better to throw the hand in and get a fresh set.

How many points out of the 30? Or is it more about how we play Don’t know why anyone needs to say this after the first game, but fitness has to improve for a start. We need to look like there is a clear plan in place, at the moment (and for the majority of games under JS last season) we look totally disjointed.

Early doors but not looking good. Doesn't seem to know his 4-3-3, you need to keep very narrow but then expand as and when.
Tonight we played 4-3-3 with men pegged out wide, players running to the touchline, trying to cross the ball with nobody in the centre.
More worringly, panicked and hurried on the ball.. Just like last season..

Which 5 are genuine Premier League player? Mooy? Kongolo? Perhaps Schindler? If you think 5 please let me have some of what you’re taking! Don’t underestimate the impact of Wagner. If any average manager was in charge the season we got promoted we’d have finished mid table at best

always cheap option at town , club will never invest and go for it Except the £200 million weve spent in the last 3 years. Or the £50 million Dean Hoyle put in during his ten year tenure.

I actually think he should tender his resignation like Mark Robbins had the decency to do. For me that start was every bit as bad as his. Same result. Could’ve been more. I think we had more chances in that match against Brentford wasn’t it?
After what we had to sit through last season and they go and start at home, on Sky, like that. Fucking disgrace tbh. It was like a players making a statement AGAINST the manager. A protest performance.
How can Phil sit through that and say anything positive. Unless he’s already resigned to mid table mediocrity or mere survival which would be more in line with the nosies and spending from the club to date.
