Surely Lincoln will bring 4,000...away at a Premier League club last season, this will be their cup final...the big time at last....expect to be outsung all evening... Not this bollocks, please. They'll bring a few, but not because it's a 'cup final'. It's because they're an upwardly mobile side playing winning football who will fancy an upset. I also fancy an upset and I worry that if one happens it really will be the mental straw that breaks the camel's back. We need a win, and against a side who are used to winning, I dread to think what could happen. Considering Lincoln have spent 5 years outside the league and climbed back through League two to League One I fully agree they are upwardly mobile, and I'm glad too because I have a soft spot for Lincoln ...but surely a tie against what was a PL club must be seen by their fans as a mouth watering tie...a sign of their new status, a reward for their successess over the recent years.. I didn't intend to demean them in my 'cup final' comment..it was more of a warning to Town, and our fans, that this might be no cake walk against a vastly improving team...Anyway, they've only got 2,000 tickets , so that part was 'bollocks'.

Fair enough. I just see that comment thrown around to demean constantly and frankly I'm a bit sick of it!

I think Lincoln will start better. If they score first we will not be able to break them down.
Hope we hammer them but can't see it.

The fact we can't put out a totally changed 2nd side of seniors with nearly no injuries says everything about our squad depth.

Can see us going Schofield Bockhorn Schindler Stankovic Brown Chabolah Brown. Bacuna Kachunga Mounie Mbenza Can also see us losing. If Lincoln put out their strongest team then I fear for us. We may be better man for man but they know how to win games and we don’t have a clue. With us Playing Fulham on Friday I think REG may play instead of Schindler. Good call. He was brilliant in Withnail & I.

I just don't understand how anyone can defend Quaner. He's had more than his fair share of chances and just doesn't seem to do anything right. I'd seen enough of him 2 years ago yet he continues to get in to the squad. I think he might be the worst professional footballer I've ever seen.

Other than that he's been generally pretty crap for town.

To be fair everyone fully believed we would be 4 expensive wages plus 4 big transfer fees better off long before the window closed. The really poor season and it's hangover is difficult to predict how long that takes to get past. A stupid error and 2 very bad misses apart we could well have 2 or even 4 points without playing well. The opinion they don't know what they are doing or where they want to go with the club is very much premature and is in the middle of huge change at the club. We have no idea what the plans are and how they have changed after our 'star' players got no offers and ended up still being here. Mooy did not want to be here whoever was owner or manager. We don't know how disappointed others may be to still be here and how long it might be before they get their shit together and really start playing We have opinions' and we are free to them but without some serious insider knowledge of all the ins and outs at the club they are usually uninformed or ill informed. The abusive posts are out of order until there is good evidence that someone at OUR club is taking the piss or worse. Surely, in that case, you tell Mooy or the others who wanted to go that due to their performances last year no one is prepared to take a chance on them and to use this season to prove them wrong. I still can't see how they've managed to decide we didn't need a left back bringing in to let our best defender play in his proper position or how Kachunga and Quaner keep getting in the squad never mind minutes on the pitch. The last couple of weeks have been mystifying tbh If you knew all the dealings you might well not be mystified at all. But who outside the club and only certain sections of that, know all the details and only a Berk would publicise their failures or disappointments? Stating that players who would have been expecting a move should 'knuckle down' is fine as a statement but maybe harder to make a reality.? I don't know what's happening with some of the squad and it might be some time before we get to know, if ever, but the team he puts out is in his opinion and on the things he 'KNOWS' is the best he can try. His job and any future career sort of depends on it.

You KNOW there are no problems along with injury and possible fitness issues that leads you to this 'factually based' conclusion? Or are you just sounding off whilst being a bit annoyed?

He’s a fucking idiot if he puts out anything less than a full strength team.
We need a win. Simple as that.

He wont put out a full strength team for a cup game especially when we play in the league on Friday. The 1st team will be on the bench.
I personally couldnt care less about the league cup. Fridays the game I'm interested in.

Fridays the game I'm interested in. If you include the QPR game the team has 5 games in 14 days. I'm amazed any fan thinks we should be putting out a full strength team against a Lincoln second string in the cup?

You would hope our second string are all keen to be in the first string and will be up for it. If they make changes we should then be favourites.
Could see Kache lead the line and be skipper. O'Brien might keep his place rather than Daly.
Be interesting if players linked with moves away play or not e.g. RVLP and Mounie.

2-1 to Lincoln. Just played it on Fifa so you don't have to go tomorrow. Pritchard comes off the bench in the 43rd minute cos Daly is knackered and scores the opener. Lincoln get 2 within minutes of each other in second half. Shit game really, might as well stay at home and watch Emmerdale.

Worrying that he doesn't see mbenza or VLP as better than Quaner but if that seriously is the case then I would suggest we change the system so as to eliminate the need for players who are that shit.
