I hope he starts Mounie. He might turn out to be a great target man in this division. He's also a decent in our box when we're defending free kicks and corners.

Well, I am not advocating betting against Town but, objectively, 13/2 against Lincoln winning are huge odds!

I see Lincoln are still whinging about Pawel Abbott's 'offside' goal in 2004 I must admit that when the linesman put his flag up and Pawel carried on and stuck the ball into the back of the net I was thinking 'oh god here comes a yellow card!' but the ref gave the goal the ref was right to give it too actually!! was that the last time we've had a decent ref?

Well, I am not advocating betting against Town but, objectively, 13/2 against Lincoln winning are huge odds! 2 things I don't understand: 1) Why it's wrong to bet against your own club. If I thought betting against us would make it more likely that we'd lose then fair enough, but it makes no difference. 2) Why those odds are so big. Honestly, I make Lincoln favourites for this one. It's a competition we never take seriously & even when we were good we got dumped out by Notts County and only got past Rotherham because their finishing was so appalling.

What attendance do we think, under 10k? I couldn’t give a rats arse if there’s 30 people there as long as we win.

Lincoln resting quite a lot of their players. I guess it's an opportunity for our fringe players and new lot to make a claim for the starting eleven in the league fixtures but I don't think it will be an easy watch.
With Lincoln bringing over 1,000 I can see a crowd of about 7,000.

What attendance do we think, under 10k? It will reflect the performance of the team to date and transfer dealings. Lowest for a long time I expect. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

Do we need to be in this tournament with our squad already thin? Probably best we focus on league survival. We must avoid a second or god forbid a 3rd relegation as we’ve done before.

What attendance do we think, under 10k? Definitely. Nobody gets over 10k in the 1st round these days so it would be under 10k even if we were top of the league playing fantastic football. I would guess it'll be between 4-5k.

We need to win competitive football matches. Promotion or relegation won't be the 'main talking point' at the club right now, as it isn't with most reasonably sensible supporters.🤔

I will be there and if you can make it so should all of you. I don't blame anyone for being pissed off atm. This unrest has been building for a while and much of it is justified. But things are what they are. Not supporting the team at matches will only make the negative vibe worse. If you don't believe in the clubs strategy then fine. Piss and moan about it on here or other platforms. But WE are HTAFC. If we don't stand together on match days, then what's the point of any of this. Me and my young un will be loud and proud. Hope to see you there.

Regarding the line up, it may have mentioned or I may be wrong, but dont you have to have 5 or 6 players from your previous game in your line up now?

Per OS believe also the South Stand if I read this right: Supporters will be able to sit on the Fantastic Media Upper Tier, the Core Stand Upper and Lower Tier and home section of the Abzorb Stand.

The natives will be getting restless The natives are already restless. Where have you been for the last week ? It's time to settle down a bit . For all that i think we have the wrong manager, all the talk of we are in a bad position, haven't got a pot to piss in, haven't got any good players etc etc is just nonsense . Comparatively we are in a massively better position than in at least 90% of the years I've been following the club. If we expect some backbone of Phil, jan and the players, maybe us as fans need to show some too .. this is hardly 2003 port vale away

Regarding the line up, it may have mentioned or I may be wrong, but dont you have to have 5 or 6 players from your previous game in your line up now? There is a ruling that 10 outfield players from the previous matchday squad have to be included in the starting line up, but I think that doesn't come into effect until after the fourth Thursday in March of the respective season. So we'd have been OK anyway in that infamous Birmingham game where we rested several players for the play-offs (I think).

I’ve just accepted that’s how the game/fans are nowadays. Neither this chairman nor the current manager has done anything to warrant any loyalty or trust from the fans so far so I don’t see the problem in raising what are very clear issues at the club.

Nothing wrong with betting against your club but it sets up an emotional tug of war if you put a worthwhile bet on. The bookies set their odds based on formulae. This is a last-season PL side playing at home against a last-season L2 team. Factors such as not-taking such games seriously in the past cannot be quantified. There is also the argument that with different playing and management personnel, why should the fact that previous set-ups didn't take the League Cup seriously affect the present outfit?
