Quick, let's try and drown out the fecking moaners before it becomes another groundhog day thread... I've gone for a 2-1 win on the prediction league - it'll come folks, just have faith... Very admirable. However, I’d probably have a little more confidence in your prediction if you weren’t hovering in the lower half of the prediction league table Shit, forgot about that... 6-0 to Fulham then...

If we switch formation and start with two up top we might have a chance. I would certainly switch to 352 and dominate the midfield.

WE actually have a pretty decent set of players now and, if the manager picks the right team/subs and plays them in positions that suit the players, we are in with a reasonable chance. I'd drop Diakhaby, as he's a defensive liability when they attack, and replace with VLP.
Going again for a 1-1 draw and 5/1 looks a decent bet.

A town win is all that matters. I dont give a f*ck how we play, or how it comes about. I just want to see desire, fight, courage, togetherness and 3 points.

Unless town suddenly find some form, I don't think anyone can't look past a defeat on Friday. Town 0-3 Fulham and one more nail in Jan's coffin.
Something tells me he won't be sacked after either

Hope the crowd stick with the team, if we go behind it could be an ugly night.

Grabara Hadj Elphick Schinds Kongolo Hogg Pritchard O'Brien Diakhaby Grant VLP
Bench Schofield, Stankovich, Chalobah, Bacuna, Koroma, Mounie, Kachunga.
I think Jan has to stick with 433 or admit his plan is flawed.
Back 5 has been almost OK in the 2 league games and hopefully improving. Leave it alone.
Move Pritchard deeper to try and replace Mooy's passing and control of the ball let Hogg and O'Brien do the leg work enforcer stuff. VlP earned a start with his cameo and he balances out the attacking 3 a bit more than Pritchard on one wing and Diakhaby the other.
Mounie on the bench, if chasing the match a better option than anyone else.

I think that the game on Friday will go one of two ways: We will put on a committed, organised and positive team performance. Win lose or draw that will satisfy me and I think a lot of others. Or we will be a set of individuals lacking in ideas desire and direction. It's a pivotal evening for Jan, hopefully he can pull a performance out of the bag and send us home with hope for the future. The alternative can easily be predicted. It's the hope that kills you in the end basil

When you look at their players it's impossible to see how we could win Knockaert always has us under his spell at this level. Wouldn't be too bad if there was just him to worry about but theyve got Mitrovic, Cairney and Cavaleiro too. They had most of them , and better , last November. Don't get carried away I don't think you've realised yet how bad we've become. We are a million miles from last November.

We're playing shit, we've only beaten Fulham once in the last thirteen attempts, 81 year old Peter Willis, with the aid of his sister Brenda, is being wheelchaired the 92 miles from his Durham minster view retirement home to referee the match. And to cap it all, the toilet roll in the bathroom is hanging the wrong way on the dispenser... 3-1 to town.. KEEP THE FAITH FOLKS.

Both involve 3 central midfielders. It wouldn't but as long as the wingers do there defensive duties correctly it might make it harder for Fulham to play through us, as Derby played through us quite easily.

-------------- Grabara ------- ----Stanks---Schindler---Kongolo ----------Hogg----O'Brien---- ------------- R Brown -------- ----RVLP/Flo--Pritchard--Grant/Diaks ------------ Mounie/Grant -----
No doubt it'll be 'great' 4-3-3 however.
Either way i'll be there, unfortunately. UTT!

Not saying it's likely but some of the showers we've had recently have been ridiculously heavy. If something like that sets in for any length of time then it'll be a bit moist

Well it is make or break for Jan on Friday night. Throughput the 90 mins I'll give Jan and the team unconditional support and hope for a great display and result.
Because if not then Jan has to leave
By my nature, I hope we have reached our nadir on Tuesday night and the only war is up.
This is the defining game for Siewerts time at Hudddersfield.

90 minutes to save your bacon Jan, have you got it in you?
Will his listen to fans unrest and pick VLP or will be persist with what has resulted brought him no success in his time here.
Time will tell...

Think you're spot on there. Big night for everyone. Not sure he dare change the formation, but for me 4-3-3 just doesn't work with the players we have available we simply end up far too narrow, and our wider front men also don't have the intelligence to get into the box enough. For me its got to be 4-4-2 and the wide men in the middle 4 have to hold the width, otherwise Fulham will surely take massive advantage down the wings just like Derby did
