Wagner signed these retained " OVERPRICED " wankers. and Hoyle must have signed them off Both the above mentioned have walked , and sadly the parachute payments required to replace the failed shite seem to be going with them . Bottom line is Wagner and Hoyle were responsible for bringing in shite , and now Hoyle wants the club to pay him back with funds that were vital to replace his and Wagners shit failed signings. Sadly players like Mounie ,Mbenza, Flo,Prichard, Bacuna have become the strength of the first team , and how worrying is that The club need to bring in a quality manager now before this club goes down the Sunderland route ,and we will have both Hoyle and Wagner to thank for that It will be January when the fate of the club will be decided ,and Hoyle needs to help the club out mainly due to last seasons dreadful errors. Disappointed after a promising first half of attacking intent, but then we didn't get one shot/header on target. I remember Pritchard shot wide, Chalobah shot wide, Schindler header wide. Schindler's looked the best chance to me.
Second half our first shot on target 52 mins then another a few mins later. Best chance was missed by Diakhaby - that was a golden chance but true to form he made a mess of it. Grant feeding off crumbs apart from his one effort - can tell when he drifted out wide in frustration.
Their first goal no one closed him down , poor defending. Heads down, game over.
Second goal free header corner back stick.
Grabera kept us in it with two great saves at 0-0. Left back was AWOL on first one but did well overall.
Hudson needs to swallow his pride and revert to 442 system that's may suit us more. Players are simply lacking in both confidence, decision making and sadly ability.

I sit in lower tier there were 2 incidents 5 mins before end of the game. Firstly, a bloke accompanied by his (appx) 10 year old kid, marched down to the front and chucked his season card at Hudson. Bloke walked out and no one gave him his card back. Secondly, bloke walks as close as he can get to Directors box and hurls a 3 minute tirade at PH. I couldn’t make out what he was saying but he didn’t look happy. |

I see this place is as toxic as ever, with people speculating what's gone wrong then others having a go at them on a personal level.
Anyway, that's just one competitive win so far in 2019, and only 7 league points. Impressive.
It's hard to think of a team as bad as the Hudd right now. The systematic dismantling of the squad is complete and we're in a death spiral. It'll take years to recover from this and I'm not sure how much a new manager can actually do to turn this around.

It’s a good time to come in. It’s still a great club in this division. Well supported and there are some players with ability albeit confidence completely shot. Someone could come in and be the new messiah.

He's talking like it was blatantly obvious that what we were doing in pre seaosn wasn't going to make us fit enough Well why did he go along for the ride and not say anything. Isn't Hogg part of the problem with his slow build up though? Doesn't like passing forward or moving forward at all. Why do we persist in playing two defensive midfielders every game? It is so fucking negative. It isn't like it is helping us to keep clean sheets. Hogg has been really poor so far this season. I would drop him and put someone more attack minded in Like O'Brien or Brown. Exactly my point. Hogg is fantastic but slows things down. Trevoh played that same position last year so I'd put him straight into Hogg's position. Or... Date I say it... Trevoh is a CB by trade. I could see him playing in place of Schindler alongside kongolo. Schindler hasn't been the same this year. |

What's happened to Grant.? Had high hopes for him but he seems to have lost something.. I worry that there's a danger of the same thing happening to him that happened to Mounie and Depoitre after their first season. They initially came in and did pretty well feeding off the meagre scraps we fed them but eventually you're going to end up with no confidence or sharpness in front of goal playing up front in a team like ours. This goes back to my earlier comments about us becoming a more attack minded side, get rid of the 2 in front of a back 3, play 2 up top, don't bring everyone back to defend, leave the wingers up and scrap the 'wing backs' positions..We've got Campbell and Grant, both can score...play them up top,together, an advanced midfielder and play it forward quicker. jan said he was going to do this but bottled it...At least let's try and get some goals scored if nothing else...otherwise we're just sleepwalking to another relegation..doing what we've always done despite it not being very successful |
