I think the club have, despite good season ticket sales, seriously under estimated the mood of the fans after last season's debacle and the penny pinching transfers activity. He really needs to get this manager right to placate the fans or else they are going to hound him out of the club. I agree. I get the feeling that the hierarchy of the club have gone into hiding somewhat perhaps hoping for a couple of positive results to ease the pressure. Now is the time for being open. I think our new Chairman needs to address the issues and explain as much as he can to the fans. Specifically. historic poor recruitment. Apparent lack of funds suddenly Why such a limited use of the loan market. The elephant in the room how has he funded the purchase? On this one I suspect we won't get an answer. Isn't it documented that the 75% purchase effectively valued the whole club at slightly over £7m?

On this one I suspect we won't get an answer. At the Odeon Q&A with PH, he stood there in front of a fair few hundred Town fans and asked: Where are all the difficult questions? I personally took from that that he was expecting nosey Yorkshire folk to enquire about his personal wealth and how he was funding everything because the rumour mill was rife with titbits of him not having the money to do the deal.
No-one, myself included, asked the question. Every opportunity to ask was given and as I said, I think he was expecting it. I don't know what answer we would have got, probably a 'it's none of your business', but we all bottled it, so the elephant continues to be in the room regarding finances.
As it stands, only DH and PH know the real financial situation and we, as fans, can guess all we like but we don't know the real truth. We could have asked, but we didn't and as you suspect, we probably won't get the answer.
I have a feeling that things just might be very different at the next meeting. Surprised we haven't heard when it is yet?!!!

I would think no one asked what his personal wealth is because: a) it’s an embarrassingly disgusting question b) it’s no one’s business

Granted it's probably not what we need right now but probably pertinent questions.

Wish I'd of known was only that much Could of got a loan knowing was getting parachute payments and had good assets ie players to sell to cover it. Unfortunately the player values, sales haven't quite got the predicted results. 🤔

There was no abuse, just valid questions. Doesnt the guy deserve to watch the game without some "expert" giving him the gift of his knowledge ? Are you happy with the current situation? 250 million pounds suddenly gone, players being sold and loaned out and bargain basement replacements being brought in, promises made that haven't been kept. I have no doubt that the guy in question probably wouldn't have gone over to the director's box in hindsight, but in the heat of the moment with passions running high he went over and asked our chairman some valid questions. There was no swearing, no abuse just some valid questions which the majority of the support have been asking. If he was abusing PH, he would have either been thrown out or arrested, he wasn't. We are all paying our money and getting little value for it on the field, part of this is down to the chairman selling and loaning out a number of players and bringing in poor and sub-standard replacements. This particular point is on the chairman.

Anyone thought that DH only wants a 'caretaker' owner for a few years then will come back as owner again when he's refreshed and fully recovered ? Might explain the hush hush deal between him and Phil...partly anyway ?

All this sniping is so toxic

£250 Million suddenly gone?? Which part of the atmosphere has that statement been plucked from? We were told that the PL money was to set us up for 10 years. This obviously isn't the case as we are being forced to sell or loan out most of our better players to get some cash. The figures don't add up. How has PH bought the club? Why is there no money for transfers?

This site is an absolute toxic disgrace .Yes we are all hurting at how we are not doing at the moment but some of the snipers aiming their grievances at PH is just Dratted ridiculous . Dean Hoyle ,yes the Messiah who saved the club ,chose to sell to PH . Dean Hoyle did not get where he is without being an astute business man . You can't tell me that he just signed 75% over to PH without knowing what he was doing . So for goodness sake stop your bleating about PH ,his finances etc etc and realise that at the moment he has a lot on his plate without fans continually questioning him .

Ar... if you was PH , with all the shit hes getting (two months into the job) would you be thinking "fuck it" ? I would .if anyone thinks there is a huge queue of aspiring suitors ready to come to our aid then think again I would yes, just like I said when Seiwert was taking all that hammer, I said I would have quit. Maybe he needs a communication with the fans to take the heat out of the situation explaining a few things. He doesn't deserve all this hammer, emotions are running high amongst the fans and it all honesty, we should be doing far better on the pitch and some of the decisions over transfer policy have been a little bizarre, Mooy for instance, the late departure of players leaving us with no room for manouvere over incoming players leaving us with resorting to signing Frazier Campbell a free agent, no disrespect to him because I think he will score a few goals once fit. We're no Sunderland or any other of the financial basket cases that have plummeted so we have to ask whats gone/going wrong.

I was surprised at the time because comments regarding his financial situation was all over here and thought some odious person would have had the gall to ask but obviously everyone in that auditorium felt as you do and kept quiet.

We have spent less money in this transfer window than Stan Ternent had to spend in 2008 and you're telling me there's loads of money?

With apologies Sandy, I was a bit late. Not missed it, I just don't understand the happy-clappy nothing is wrong attitude that so many people on here seem to have. We are heading back to where we came from and no one seems to be doing anything about it, a lot of supporters seem even less concerned. And with regards to the guy asking PH some questions in the director's box, PH better get used to it because if we carry on as we are, there will be a lot more people doing the same. Barry Rubery had bricks thrown at him, David Taylor had weekly protests against him, Ken Davy was given abuse, death threats and one poster even posted his address on here. PH has got off lightly compared to these three former chairmen.
