Unless your a team who’s already been there, very few clubs are ready for the jump up to PL. Unnecessary comments from someone who spent more time in a KFC bucket than on the training pitch.

Unprofessional yet he played for town in the best league he’ll ever get near.
4 in 5 for the mighty genk in that shit league.
Playing for Town is and will always be the pinnacle of his career.
Can’t believe how thin he looks now, got to be questions asked there of the fitness team.

OOOh...gossip. Which restaurant Slapps? Was it Hungry Horse? That italian under the arches near the ring road ,opposite tescos entrance. She was predictably gorgeous too. I wonder what she saw in the dull as ditchwater , millionaire, lazy prick? That old chestnut. It is "dishwater" by the way.

Last season he was stealing a living. Taking massive amounts of money from our club and putting no effort in at all to earn it. I thought he was a disgrace frankly. He was on the next table to me and my family in a restaurant earlier this year with his girlfriend/wife. He put as much effort into his date as he did playing for Town. He looked bored, she looked bored. They barely spoke. Its probably true that we werent ready for the prem but why would we be? No one expected it.. even thought it was possible really. Maybe the restaurant car park wasn't big enough, or was there only one gents' toilet?

We weren’t ready? Yet we stayed up against all odds? And he signed for a club that was unprofessional and poor and not ready? Sounds like a tosspot to me!

Belgian journalist...
"so Laurent, can we get you to drop a few disparaging and incendiary remarks into an interview that will then transcend Belgian journalism & therefore achieve our clickbait objective"?
Laurent...
"OK then, not sure what transcend means, but if you want some subjective soundbite nonsense, that'll be another 15K Euros"
The only laughable part of that article is how he can comment about our readiness for a league he'd never played in previously. He could have said exactly the same about playing in the District league if he'd have signed for Brackenhall...
Not the best article & one that will burn bridges, but in context he's one of several players that have partially milked the club. There have been many others like that in the past, but without the media saturation...

That old chestnut. It is "dishwater" by the way. actually it's ditchwater, originally. It is. I'm amazed Walter wasn't there when the phrase was conceived. Actually, cancel that, it was the 1700's apparently. He will say he was there.

The original simile, dull as ditchwater, dating from the 1700s, alluded to the muddy water in roadside ditches. In the first half of the 1900s, perhaps through mispronunciation, it became dishwater, that is, the dingy, grayish water in which dirty dishes had soaked

Whoever came up with the saying 'dull as ditchwater' was probably looking to describe a conversation like this one.

So it was no parking, bad grass, poor training facilities that made him turn up overweight, lazy and not be able to hit a cows arse with a banjo!!! What is it with these dopes ?! You are now playing in a poor league, wealthy beyond your dreams yet you cant acknowledge "it just didn't work out" Fuck off you classless clown.......

That old chestnut. It is "dishwater" by the way. actually it's ditchwater, originally. I expected this response from someone....this ran on here some years ago. I have also mentioned several times how language changes..transmogrifies! It has been "dishwater" in Huddy since the Wesleyans pissed off. Ditchwater is accepted but not ideal.

Im a traditionalist me Oti. Thus i prefer ditchwater. Also being a married traditionalist, I have no idea what dishwater looks like.

Remember him trudging towards the leicester goal at the away game before fluffing his lines out of breath? Reckon we would have gone on to win that game if he scored and then the hapless diakhaby commited a needless foul on the edge of our box for maddison to curl one in.
He did give us a couple of good memories, man Utd, chelsea and a couple of neat finishes home to leicester and watford away but now all i will remember him for is needless trash talk

He's right about Wagners defensive style though...we had no chance of scoring many goals and as a striker that's not good. I remember going to Anfield the first season, and vowed I'd never go to an away game again as we just sat back for 90+ minutes, didn't even try to score. What's the point of that ? Who wants to watch that...

Told where to be, what time to be there, what to wear, what to eat etc for their entire careers. Player liason to run round after them to make sure they can manage basic adult tasks like paying bills and ordering sky. Then at this level and above paid amounts that essentially make money no object, at least whilst they are earning it. As annoying as it is, is it any wonder that the majority are essentially grown up children and its never their fault?

I loved him after the first season and thought he would be our main striker.I just feel sad that it didn’t work out for a second season for him.No point giving him stick on here because it’s obvious that a lot of other players were thoroughly disillusioned as well. The problems always start at the top never the bottom.

200 plus park there on matchdays yet he couldn't find a parking spot when a lot less cars were there.
No wonder he couldn't find the net.

I agree on the Wagner style of play and feel it not only bored the hell out of fans and was ineffective but also a lot of players lost interest because of that system, if the fans were bored rigid I'm sure the players were too. Players seemed to no longer be enjoying their football and we lost what was good about us, unhappy players don't make good ones.
But after his second season then he should of being pointing the finger more at himself than blaming parking spaces and grass as to why we failed
