Are any of those things good enough excuses for a distinct lack of effort though Laurent? Are they fuck!

Ex player in shock revelation about how he was not appreciated. If he had these misgivings, why did he sign?

Most of the time, he performed like a fat slug ... Then again there is something in what he says!

Unnecessary...but he’s not wrong.
Doesn’t hide that his lack of effort for 12 months was a disgrace and nothing to do with any of these factors.

Good goals against Leicester and Chelsea, twice, cannot think of anything else.

Good goals against Leicester and Chelsea, twice, cannot think of anything else. Winner against United and got us a point at Southampton. Did OK his first year, shocking last season. He's probably right in what he says though.

He is absolutely right with his criticism of the transfer policy. However his moan about not being able to park his car shows how spoilt these players are. Most of his comments are pathetic.

Good goals against Leicester and Chelsea, twice, cannot think of anything else. He scored 2 of the most memorable goals I've seen for Town in Utd at home and Chelsea away - 2 goals which were vitally important and which no one else in our squad would have scored.

If Depoitire has come out and said that it’s pretty embarrassing. Stirs of player trying to make excuses for failure. At the end of the day, He simply wasn’t good enough for the challenge. A weak minded individual who can only perform when circumstances are perfect...

Just shows the impression canalside gives though. It might be infinitely better than storthes hall etc but it’s still crap, and needs sorting with no backing out or half measures.
It’s ok saying they are mollycoddled but it’s their workplace and if they can easily sign for some other club with a much better one.

Awh poor Lolo had to share a toilet. I hope VLP's shitting is more accurate than his shooting.

Lolo's problem was he wasn't ready to pass a pie shop.
PS ....but thanks for United and Stamford Bridge, pity you stayed another season and didn't fancy trying in that one.

I could agree with him had he been a stand out player and been too good for us, scoring goals etc. But after his decent first season all he did was have his knob up that fit bird in the Maldives in some jacuzzi pool. Tbh I don’t blame him

No room to park his ego more like. has car park space to do with application? OK, Town were not ready, it was unexpected. Gent would be rock bottom of the Prem every season. Failed at his two big clubs. More interested in Weetabix on his head and steaks in his gut. Wont get 20 goals in the rest of his career unless he is scoring against some Belgian village team in the cup. Made £3 mill for being bang, bang average as a footballer.

Everything he says is true though. Kick and stamp all you like.
People forget we were fighting at bottom of champs after only just getting promoted a few years before.
We got lucky - a miracle even.
Of course we weren't ready or up to standard - the premier league promotion fucked this club, like all the others who 'weren't worthy' - bradford, barnsley, blackpool + many others not beginning with B
The hard truth is that we aren't designed for the premier league anymore, SKY fixed that for us - football is broken - and so are we now.

I think it’s also very apparent that we went from signing good men only in 16/17 to severely lowering those standards afterwards. Probably in desperation to get a bit of quality through the door.

Agree, we are going backwards faster than Chrissy Powels london daily train. Very amateur how we have got relegated, signed a bag of shit and no plan.

Most of what he says is spot on . But im also spot on in saying he was a fat lazy useless waste of space disguised as a (semi) professional footballer. The fact he earnt as much in his second season in a week as most on here do in a year ahould be a source of permanent embarrassment which follows him to his grave. The fact it wont is the measure of the man

I enjoyed watching him in that first season and his strike rate was really good considering as he points out the lack of chances we created, however looks like he gave up on the second season because he was unhappy, embarrassing on his part.
