It speaks volumes about you Oti that you don't understand how much women's football has progressed in a quarter of a century, or how much you will have declined. Leave off Oti. By "letting them play" he is clearly demonstrating his feminist credentials

I hope they are having fun but i am a 57 year old fat bloke and if i roped in my 14 year old nephew, Sean Jarvis and the bloke who serves bacon sandwiches at Huddersfield railway station i reckon we would win 3 or 4 to nil. Nice half volley by the way Would you bollocks. They'd embarrass you more than your regular parade of bullshit on here does. Do Trump or Johnson know embarrassment? Me neither. In fact i want a stand-up slot....i will show you the rage within me.

One of the greatest ever adages is "change is not necessarily progress". Even the arrow of evolution goes backwards or to blind alleys. Yes, the recent rise in quality of the women's game and athleticism is remarkable...but not unexpected. It has gone from absolute shite to organised. Soon to peak by the way. The way of all things. The greatest female team of all time would never beat Ashton United...and that my bearded friend....is a fact. Yes, emancipation, feminism, progress....the rise of the female....what a wonderful thing that has been for society/the planet in general. We interfere with nature ever more....it will bring about our demise.

Fairly obvious what the thread was about so why bother reading it then ? To see what other peoples opinions are and put mine forward. Pretty sure that's what's defined as a forum mate.

Would you bollocks. They'd embarrass you more than your regular parade of bullshit on here does. I played against them when they were the third or 4th best in England around 1995. Our pub team beat them 2-1 and Mark Lillis was playing for them. Let them play but dont tell me its good. Did you really OTI - methinks not - I am actually married to one of that team and in 1995 they certainly did not play a pub team......in fact they were 10 mins away from a fa cup semi final game. If your claim is true - name some women who played against you......where they use to play and the England international that played for them (there was more than 1) Gotchya lying toerag

One of their players was going out with one of ours and came to Wembley with us. She was well known to Mark.

I wonder if Nick has a Nokia 3210 because my spellcheck just types ‘women’ and ‘arena’.

Do we need 2 threads on the women's team? Pot and kettle ! Yes as plenty of threads on the boring manager subject Nick. Once upon a time the most tiresome thing on datm was your shit pointless threads. Then the most tiresome thing became Ted Chippingtons responses to your shit pointless threads But that was relegated by you daring to comment on the fact other people were starting shit pointless threads. How dare you!!! But now it's come full circle and once again your shit pointless threads are back on top of the tiresome hit parade. Must make you proud

Different rules for the Women ? Town have had a player sinbinned for dissent 🤔 Sin bins after a trial period were introduced this season to all football at level 5 and below in the National League pyramid this season (3rd tier and below for women’s football). Would be surprised if sin bins aren’t introduced further up the leagues, although really it’s a formalisation of the hot housing you get in junior football where a manager will sub a player who is losing it but will be reintroduced later (sub rules allow subs to reenter play in most junior comp).

It was a friendly in 1995! What do you want...a signed pennant and some DNA?? Get a grip man...I cant even remember my team mates names never mind some birds from Batley. Ask Mark Lillis...he will confirm it....it was part of our training regime before we played at Wembley..in fact a couple of Town ladies went with us.

You mean you didn't swap shirts at the final whistle? Imagine all of these ladies, including international players, missing the chance to get the shirt of 1994 Bollocks D'Or winner Oti? Clearly didn't happen.

Different rules for the Women ? Town have had a player sinbinned for dissent 🤔 Went to watch Emley v Golcar United a couple of weeks back, and Emley had a player yellow carded and sent to the sin bin. I was confused until someone told me about it being trialled.

Some highlights from the game yesterday, looks like we were holding on at times (although the video is from Stoke City).
Top of the table clash next week against Sunderland who won 9-1 yesterday.
