I don’t think many of you would disagree that we were the better side on the night. Unfortunately we have two big faults. We can’t score and we can’t keep a clean sheet You’ve got a precious away win and at least kept in touch with safety I really have no idea where we go from here. Looks a certainty that Jones will be gone in the morning so we have to pray for a new manager bounce Where will we both be the next time we play ? Not being disrespectful but after watching that display tonight I’d guess we’ll both be in bottom three Off to bed now Really pissed off 😡 😡

What are you talking about?
You were never in the game. We controlled it, let you tire yourselves out and then brought our best players on to seal a comfortable 3 points
Thanks and goodnight

No one deserved the label 'better team'!

That was probably our worst performance of the season, but we got our best result.

Two poor teams, and we were under the cosh for great swathes of it. So in that respect stoke may have been the "better" side. But no shot on target over 90 mins? We were the better side in that we managed 1, and scored from it. And it's the only metric that counts, unfortunately for you.

I particularly liked this post on your forum about your manager....
“Huddersfield are a weeping septic festering baboons arse of a team and we’ve just been beaten by then at home without registering a shot on target.
Words fail me”

We created two great chances and took one ( no idea how we missed the other ) Your lot never really looked like scoring We’ll both need to seriously improve if we want to stay in this league

I don't think either team were better. Stoke were a poor home side and we were a poor away side. Apart from Allen's free header I never thought you looked like you were going to score

Perhaps not in how we played tonight but that result will be massive for improving our morale and confidence. Think Stoke will too but they'll need a new manager first. Both clubs have enough quality to comfortably finish mid table IMO. We're on our way to that and so long as they appoint well, think stoke will too.

No doubt we’re improving. But a win at stoke isn’t going to keep us up. We need a run of results to even get in and amongst the other poor sides.
Hopefully this result allows the players go into the coming games with a positive attitude. But we’ve a long long way to go before I will start to feel comfortable

No way Town will be anywhere near the bottom come next May. We’ve 30 odd games to play. We’ve got a proper manager now. Watch us rise up the league.

2 best chances on the night fell to town (both after good passing moves might I add). We scored one and missed a Gobber. Did Grabara make a proper save? Dire game but managed considerably better by one team than the other. Stoke will be fine, town will be fine.

The Cowleys have 36 more games to secure safety. We have got the right management team. Millwall was the first small step, tonight was a big step forward. The performance didn’t matter, the clean sheet and the win were all that mattered. They’re learning very fast and they’ll drag this team up. No doubt about it.

Genuinely don't think Stoke will be relegated. I think they need to change manager. As for us not sure.

Let you into a false sense of security and and hit you with the sucker punch late in the game. You never looked like scoring and the best two chances in the game fell to us I'm sorry but Stoke are officially the worse side we've played in the last two years.

He knows his time is up. I like the guy and I think he will go on to be successful in the future. The Stoke job is a bit of a poisoned chalice and I think they may struggle Whoever is in charge

The only two real chances in the game came in the first & last ten minutes of the game, both fell to Huddersfield. I really don't know how Kachunga missed the first so badly but the last chance was taken excellently. Lumping aimless balls into the box with afew half chances that never hit the target didn't make Stoke the better team. It was a poor spectical but the team that created the better chances won.

Thought Stoke were the better team but didn't do enough to win the match really.
No clear cut chances.
We had the effort in the first 5 mins and should really have scores, then nothing up to the goal.
We were extremely lucky to get the win and played no better than in any of the other games...I think anyone else would've beaten us tonight.
